then he "belongs" to more then 1 forum - I know he was leading the GTRP GT3 lizence ranglist a couple of years ago, and I think he is from vienna if I am not wrong - needless to say that he is fast - if that is the same guy - I have been on the GTRP forum since 2002 and saw him and other really fast racer appearing from time to time - in the rankings. Unfortunately I am unable to race europeans online - since I have only the jp. and u.s. version - but I am allready thinking of getting the euro version - because I am GT addicted !!!

we are talking about different persons I think...

I'm at GTRP since 2002 too and I've raced with Sphinx in different BC's (Boardchallenges) in team GTNDC.
He's an englishman as I know..

Can't remember he was leading the GT3 License board...
IMHO this was Arco/Wiese:)

But I agree: Sphinx is a fast and clean driver:tup:

After many races against this chap, I find it time to pay my due respects.

GTP_Ponchanello, you are the quickest, cleanest racing driver I have come across since my time online began! I look forward to racing that white NSX of yours at every opportunity and the GTPlanet community should be proud to have you flying their flag!

Cheers!👍

@ Honeycar - we are talking about the same person - I wasn't awake I guess :dopey:>>> I wrote Sphinx and meant Flinx. SRy about that - u r absolutely right

fastest racer I haven't been able to catch is PC-CITY. Whenever I get a race with him, I either get stuck behind traffic or find myself in the sandpit. When I do get behind him, its after he's 6 seconds or so infront and I don't gain at all, and after a couple races he leaves the room, so it's really hard to get any laps with him.

Yep GTP_Ponchanello is one of the best racers I have come across, and have the chance to race fairly, fast and clean racer, certainly not one you want to have in your rear veiw mirror :scared:

Hi racer, I just join and see good and bad things about me. All things are getting better and better. Do not mean to bump people out with the White Elise, the game is new and not sure where to take people which the Elise can only pass people at turns, and sometime it turns out bad.
Who ever I bump...... Sorry. You will not see the white Lotus much. Because the best I can do with that is 2.05 at pp750 Susuka. I have better car than that now.

A****aka, drama-kyd, GTP_Breakfade, GTP_Spyhunter, GTP_THE_HOOLIGAN, LeagenOfYoazz, MAJESTICWELVE13 are all good racer. Sorry to bump with the white Lotus, which is very hard to catch up with small to bigger horses

thx to drama-kyd which tell me about this site.

Great fast gaming today with drama-kyd. Peace.

LOL Stevisiov!

You are also another driver I don't want to see in my rearview!

Just my luck though, you're so quick, you're usually miles infront of me and I can only catch fleeting glimpses of you PSN id hovering above your car before you once again become a speck on the horizon!

BTW, I don't think Poncha is going to be so quick anymore with the new PP classes, hehe! What say you Poncha? Still got the skills to handle that Honda on lousy tyres...?

;)

Drama-kyd...I always enjoy racing him at Suzuka 750pp. 95% of the time he beats me, however at the same time I push myself to catch him and I've learned new faster racing lines through corners I used to have trouble with. Thanks drama for making drive on the edge. 👍

Some good races tonight on Suzuka 600 with drama-kyd, spyhunter & others.

Apologies for being so slow off the line - as I had lower PP I was starting 1st or 2nd on the grid & causing a bit of a traffic jam because I was so freakin' slow accelerating. I'll have to work on those standing starts...

A new weird & wonderful happening in a race with GTP-spyhunter:

I was in second place behind him at the end of lap one & he appeared, inexplicably, to drive into the barrier on the last chicane before the pit straight. However, the car appeared back on the track a few seconds later, driving normally. This then happened several more times - great clouds of dust & his car streaking through the gravel & then appearing back on the track up ahead as though it had driven normally round the corner.:confused::confused:

(Other than this the race was completely "normal" - no lag or jitters)

Anyone else experienced this?

Welcome to the site PS-City. Post up some of your tunning settings... 💡
I'm especially interested in the tuned Elise.

POWER 336 +35
WEIGHT 676 98
TIRES R3 R3
AERODYNAMICS F10 R35
RIDE HEIGHT -9 -8
SPRING RATE 9 7
DAMPER 8 9
TOE +25 +27
CAMBER 2.6 2.8
BRAKE BALANCE 7 5
MAX TURN 30
TRACTION 4
ABS 1
STOCK TRANS

Its my special "Spyhunter" settings. J/K

Its probably lag. Makes it REALLY hard to pass, when cars are doing that. LOL.

I'm sure it was lag, but it was unlike anything I had experienced before: the rest of the race was completely normal, but the "streaking through the dirt" happened repeatedly, just with your car. It was very weird to watch, & very distracting - I would have caught you, otherwise... ;)

Cheers fellas, but funny thing is, is that I find you guys just as, if not faster than me 👍 AERO especially, given your versatility in car choices!
I'm the type to only be as fast as the ones i race i.e. others push me to try to get to their level.

And you're on the money, AERO re: S2-tired NSX. I think it's time to put that car behind me :sly: Was good while it lasted though!
Have up the skill level again, which is one of the thing I love about GT5P. It really is pushing me (us all, perhaps?) to learn more skills with this new physics engine :)

+1 for not wanting to see Stevisiov behind you (if you're lucky enough to be infront in the first place!)

I'm sure it's been said, but MisterWeary gets my vote for one of the fastest blokes around. Have yet to have the pleasure of racing Sphinx yet ;)

*WARNING* If you see Timpaq driving an F430 around Suzuka do not approach - he will eat you for breakfast.

Dear Timpaq - I'll swap you my house and my finest woman if you tell me the setup for that car. I thought mine was fast but all I could see was a distant flash of blue :ill:

How big is your house? I´m tempted... I admit.... :dopey:

P3nT4gR4m..were you online this weekend

'simplify' (done in upper and lower case) was a good guy to race. One round he was allover the back of me but never risked any stupid moves to get past, even though i went on to win.. big respect for that. Another round i think i had him fair an square tho..but it was nice to feel the pressure.

dont think so..lol..your ID looks familiar..whats you usual haunt..??

Im into the 600pp S2 tyre/suzuka at the mo..

Yup I was there all weekend trying out different cars. Finally settled on the F430. If you saw me this weekend then Suzuka 600pp is where it'd have been.

750pp is just a glorified dodgem race right now but I did discover the Viper SRT challenge races last night and I'll be spending a bit more time there this week.

cool..think we had a couple of good runs, i was also in the 430, a white one.

jus regestered for a GTP ID, should make spotting easier..catch ya laters.
