MkIV is the easier to drive, but the Ferrari is a very fast car once you get the hang of driving it. The Jag XJ-13 is a good car as well, but this can be won.
You could always go for the XJ13. It's heart-achingly gorgeous. I am absolutely in love with that car...

boredgunnerA poll would be nice. The Ferrari 330 P4 is faster in a straight line but it does not corner as fast as the Ford Mark IV. Still, the Ferrari gives me better lap times on most courses (just not on tighter courses like cities and maybe Deep Forest). The Jaguar XJ13 combines cornering speed like the Ford Mark IV with straight line speed almost as good as the Ferrari 330 P4. The GT40 is just inferior.
I wouldnt be so quick to label the P4 as quicker in a straight line.. yeah initially the P4 gets out of the blocks a touch quicker because of the 5 vs. 4 gears.. but once both cars get to a good trot the Mark IV obliterates the P4, i will conduct a drag race.. that should seperate which one is the man and which one is the boy, i ALWAYS take out my Mark IV, not so much my P4
Silly question, but how do you go about getting these cars (i.e. is the only way to purchase them)?
There was mention previously about getting one using a level 21 ticket? What is that about (is that one of those mystery car tickets which the user has no control over which car they receive once the ticket is 'cashed' in)?
boredgunnerI drive them both fully upgraded, stock I think the Mark IV beats the Ferrari 330 P4 in every way (not 100% sure though).
So I'd go for Mk IV, just because it's a winner and a legend. Ferrari lost, and in my oppinion - shouldn't even be 20mil.
The whole Historic Racing Car trinity is a joke to me, look - XJ13 never raced, 330 lost, GT40 Mk IV won, and the most famous GT40 (Mk II) is standard.
How can XJ13 and 330 be historic when they haven't won anything? They become history.
End of.
I'm really thinking of buying another XJ13.
Ferrari 330-P4 is good but don't forget - it lost versus Mk IV on Le Mans.
