Did they change the qualifications for nations cup top 24? It said it was ranked by points for the season, how long has it been this way?
About 2 weeks ago. Also limits number of manufacturer spots to 2 and in emea number of participants from each country to 2.

I'm officially triggered, salty and seething, and of course it's because of the CSA.

This morning, I had a look at the fastest practice times for the EMEA nations cup race at Tsukuba. 9 out of 10 drivers had CSA on (the only one who didn't was 10th).

Yesterday, the top 3 drivers at the top 24 race had CSA on too.

Turn that **** off.

That race today is a kart race. I never use assists unless it's karts. For me they're impossible to control without assists, so props to the people that don't use any.

Overall, I have no beef with people that use assists. It's a game, and it's offered to all of us. I'd rather be a part of good, competitive racing rather than people spinning into each other all the time.

As @Dose555 said, the karts are nearly uncontrollable on a wheel, even with driving aids turned on and wheel rotation set to it's max it's still hard to keep them on the track.

Stop moaning and get on with playing the game, if people want to use it, let them use it!

If they do not, then so be it

If I had that power to tell people what to do. I'don't tell tof stop driving Porsches and stop using red bull liveries. Sadly I don't, whilst at it might as well tell lesser drivers to stop using to a different abs.

Parallel to that, let the drivers switch off the drive-instead-of-me options and moan, while the gamers can skip moaning and switch on whatever they like. Ius murmurandi.

I see top guys are still playing manufacturers musical chairs.

Gr3 Top 24 race this time so different manufacturers will be stronger, plus lots of guys who just missed the top 2 spots will switch to a less popular choice to try and qualify this time. Looks like a pretty tasty battle for top 2 Lexus and Porsche spots this week.

Seen an EVO in the top 10 before.

Im going to take a break from FIA events.

The glitched manufacturer 24 superstars race for the american region was the final nail on the coffin. I was so much looking forward to the race.

Getting bored of racing the same little tracks every week. Level of participation is getting lower and lower with most of the top drivers not racing as well.

Would love some kind of new championship added to mix things up. Where is the Polyphony Cup?

I switch manufacturers every time since I've yet to try out all the different Group cars. I'm more of a midpack driver, though, so it doesn't affect me as much.

Well, okay. One exception to that. For whatever reason, I am struggling with every Gr.3 MR car I've driven so far. Today, I thought I had some type of handle with the Mclaren only for it to feel completely different in the race. I'm at a loss on figuring out why.

Very noticeable while driving Porsche today at Suzuka on Dunlop and 2nd Degner. Maybe fuel weight throws off the balance on MR cars?

I moved brake balance forward one step from my normal and that seemed to help. Handling felt closer to normal after a few laps.

I do try to simulate race conditions in my lobby so that I can gauge wear and fuel load. With the McLaren, it worked okay for qualifying but once the race started, I had no idea what I was driving.

In fairness, I didn't touch the brake bias when setting it forward in the R8 helped a bit.

Anyone here do Gr. 2 today? I had a very calm and strange race. Six of us qualified within three-tenths of each other, with myself being the only one in the GT-R. I won by 8.5 seconds because I was the only one able to one-stop without conserving fuel. Did I get lucky with my car choice?

I didn't have to save that much fuel in the NSX (which I believe uses the most fuel), just earlier upshifts when in the slipstream and a little short shifting through parts of the middle sector was enough to get me to Lap 8 with fuel to spare.

Fia manufactures race I picked Ford purely because I have a Vr46 livery for both in the same style aha
Bathurst is a either a strong track or mentally destructive track same with brands hatch once it goes wrong it goes to hell pretty much
But actually managed to get p2 on the grid I think a 2:13 dead
Unfortunate I just lost the tow to the guy infront and the guy behind was just sitting behind me really close putting me under pressure but not passing.
So I ended up using so much more fuel despite trying to myself because one in front could take it relatively easy with no challenge from behind albeit I was just over a second behind and the guy behind basically using no fuel to keep up hoarding my slipstream
Ended up a strong third matched my qualifying pace in the race but didn’t save enough fuel to be able to challenge the front guys
I’m dr s Sr s if anyone’s wondering

Tonight's Gr.2 race was great fun, so much overtaking. It was so much fun I threw together the highlights, I left in my embarrassing mistake (I went for an overtake from quite far back and ended up overtaking 1 and a half cars), at least the car I hit lost no time. There was also a little tit for tat incident between Lexus' running each out wide on the opening lap. Not the cleanest of races but definitely one of the most fun.

Had a horrible time on Gr.2 Interlagos, the speed of those cars encourages what is already a divebomb-happy track. I qualified 6th, my 1st lap cold tires got loose (if they're not going to give us a starting formation lap, they should manually increase the tire temps) and the mid-field piranhas descended upon me and a GT-R shoved me off. Climbed back up to 9th, then another GT-R slowed down in front of me after the first chicane and sent me spinning into the dirt with engine damage. Down to 15th, scrambled back up to finish 11th.

The only Gr.2 race I've really enjoyed so far was on Suzuka. Tracks with many low-gear exists don't mesh well with this class of cars given the non-linear throttle and dodgy tire model in GTS. Maybe it's better with wheel+pedals, but on pad it's not a great experience.

CSA also helps fuel consumption.

PD turn that **** off. This is a ****ing joke.

Does it actually? How did you find this out, and how did you know this is certain?

I'm not a fan of CSA but I'm skeptical until there is legitimate evidence

I'm second, slipstreaming, shortshifting, coasting, barely gaining on the straights and of course the guy up front still managed to save more fuel. I am the first to concede that I'm not the best around and there are a ton of people who are better but it was too much of a difference. Was the same on yesterday's race too.
