I dno something is F-y . I think it may have to do with your DR ranking as well. Saturday's race I was a DR:B, I got 1st place in the A/B crossover lobby where it was 50/50 a/b drivers, and I was the 16th ranked driver in the lobby. I went from 28,262DR to 29,846DR. Last night I got 3rd in the A/b crossover lobby that only had three A drivers, I was 4th in the lobby and I went from 29,846 to 32,485. I have never seen that huge of a jump in my DR and I monitor it after every race, and only race in the FIA races. My only guess is DR A driver have a bigger DR multiplier or something.

Just realized I will be missing the next two events. Saturday racing doesn't quite work for those of us that like to go out and do things on the weekends...

Technically one because if I'm not mistaken, this is actually the last event for June because of the World tour at the Nurburgring, before things pick back up in July.

When you increase your rank (so from B to A here) you get a bonus 1500 DR. The same happens when you go down a rank and you lose an extra 1500 DR. This is done presumably to stop people moving between ranks all the time.

So you got 1,139 DR from the race and then the 1,500 bonus for the promotion to A, which sounds perfectly plausible.

Casually have the Manufacturers World Record in the Pug

NICE! Maybe you'll be able to pull yourselves out of last place then.

I did some practice for Saturdays Le Mans event in a private Lobby with appropriate settings today. My best with LMP1-cars (and BoP enabled) is 3:31. Group C1 marginally faster.

Well, I watched Le Mans Qualifying yesterday evening: The Toyota set a time of 3:17.

What was the fastest time in an LMP1-car with BoP enabled and vanilla setup? Is a 3:17 with a real car (no VGT) possible?

The pole time in 2016 which is a more direct comparison was a 3:19.7. If quali didn't start with 100% fuel the R18 could get into the 17s with a perfect lap, but 18s are definitely possible on the Mediums.

Only 5 of the 20 rounds are going to count for Global Manufacturer Points....so Pug only needs 5 good rounds, quite easily now could be a top 10 manu.

Yeah what people don't realise is both Rounds 1 and 2 were absolutely woeful tracks for the Group 4 Pug... but later in the season when we get to Monza... we'll see who's laughing then

Yup, all jokes aside goodluck to you and outlaw. I always like rooting for the gt planet guys at the live events and the "live" t16ss races. So the more that make it the better!

I now wish they had swapped Le Mans with Tokyo East. I am a complete pleb on the former but a champ in the other. I tend to do bad when I overpractice but I have to this time. I want to see everyone again at a live event and so I have to be at my best.

For the other plebs in Pugs, get ahold of myself or @mclarenLB. We should help each other out to get all the speed we can out of ourselves. 👍

The point system has me worried. I have watched several other replays of this last MFS race and it definitely appears that it’s on my best interest to tank my DR and race on slower rooms, but that’s just silly.

I wonder if it will be adjusted in the future.

So basically in many ways if a driver qualifies for the finals in whatever car brand then which tracks are chosen for the finals competition to be ran on have a big part in determining which driver or team could be at an advantage or disadvantage correct?

Absolutely, I was part of the Chevvy team at Paris, and they picked Brands Hatch of all places for qualifying, our car was 3-4 tenths down on the front runners.

Yep, no way I am bothering with the Gr.3 race. I hit 170mph at the end of the 1st straight in the Lancer, when the Ford GT and others are up at 178mph. I basically lose about 0.75 secs on each straight, and there are a couple of those at Le Sarthe :(

Good luck to everyone who does race :)

Same here with the BMW Z4. I love the Zettie and don't care too much about my results (otherwise I'd need to pick another Gr. 3 BMW in the first place), but I'm not sure whether I should participate at all tomorrow.

Looks like I might make the Gr.3 race at La Sarthe tomorrow after all, plans were cancelled. I feel like I'd rather start from the rear and work my way up as people make mistakes. See how that goes...

What's your time at La Sarthe? I can only manage a paltry mid-3:59 with the Lancer as well :(
I'm well aware that this is out of my own incompetence, but I want to see how I stack up against fellow Lancer drivers since the leaderboards are dominated by Pugs

My race pace is 4:02's, but I don't really bother with the quali/time trial thing so I have no idea what speed that equals with no fuel and good tyres. Kie25 and other good drivers had best race laps of high 3:56's/3:57's so I am way off the pace.

Hmm... my race pace is around the high-4:00s to low-4:01s, but I get a second slower with every lap even if I'm pushing it, so maybe I'll have to take care of my tires more. Thanks mate
