Okay result in Manu CSA but I was hoping for more. I qualified 7th in the second split room in the second time slot. Was taking care of my Ferrari's tires and leaving room but still got tapped by half the field and fell down to the back (on a 10-meter-wide track designed for eSports).

Lost 900 DR so the third slot was a weaker room. Qualified sixth, finished fifth for 1125pts in a very clean race. Battled fourth the entire last lap but lost out by 0.05s. We were only three seconds from 2nd place.

I'll take it. Despite being only my fourth race this season I'm in the mix for top three for Ferrari.

Today's combo was always going to be a long shot for jaguar. One hot lap pace wasn't that bad, but tyre wear and race pace the car struggled a lot. Still a good result in the end.

Racing was surprisingly fun tonight! I moved up 5 positions in the first race to finish 6th in 2nd split. Tried again 2nd slot, qualified 15th in top split and finished 10th, another amazing race! Third slot I was up a few positions again somewhere around 10th when the driver behind me missed his braking point at the end of the bridge. He slammed into the back of me and cut the corner to the right and the PD Gods decreed "THOUGH SHALL TAKE FIVE SECONDS OF PENALTY TIME ON THE NEXT LAP".

I wasn't mad, it was an honest mistake, the game is sadly broken in this regard. But then the guy was first to quit the race before the scores even finished, no "I'm sorry" or anything. A little annoyed.

Will timestamp the video tomorrow when youtube is finished processing it

Only did first slot of manufacturers last night. Qualifying... The less said the better... P last. The race was just about patience, I managed to gain a decent amount of spots for such a short race but I don't think any were proper overtakes  just people making mistakes/having incidents. Was interesting watching the action unfold in front of me but would be nice if the race was longer.

I tried both races last night but wasn't really on the pace in either.

Started towards the back in the Nations in a Xbow, and picked up a few places through the race as other people ran into tyre issues, but just couldn't match the top 10 pace.

Did the Manufacturers twice as I got nudged off on my first attempt (was good to see a fellow Mitsubishi driver win that race), but again I made a mess of my qualifying so I started towards the back in both races. Managed to overtake a few people and generally had fun to get up to 8th. Was tough to overtake but I really enjoy the St Croix tracks even if I am not too fast.

Manufacturers: No more spins (-5 balance, TCS 5) and at least I finished, but still in bottom 3 in both runs.
Nations: Best FIA run so far, strong qualifying and finish (even had my 1st top 10!) by my standards... although that might be because I had the right car (991 GT3 RS).

Thinking of what Gr.1 I should buy for Saturday, and I'll defenitely run Indonesia themed liveries considering that day is our independence day.

Didn't have time to practice nations. Only did manu, just didn't have the speed in the first 2 slots, tried to salvage something in the last for the pug train, qualified around 6th or 7th, everyone made it easy to pass by going wide or getting a penalty, was running 2nd for most of the race, last lap missed my braking point at the end of the bridge as I watching my mirrors too much and binned it, some how I had the instinct to handbrake and hit the wall sideways remembering it's a game and I can limp away from the wreck, somehow only had damage to the front and rear bumper, salvaged 4th. It's not looking good for the pug train.

Manu: The NSX had awesome pace at St. Croix. I did 2 time slots, both in 2nd split. Pole both races. First race, I had a very mediocre first lap, lost a few slots, got a shortcut penalty and finished 6th or so. Second race was much better. This time I stayed focused and broke slipstream right away. Cruised home for another NSX victory! 15:38 total time. My first ever 2k+ finish. Disappointed to only get 15 mfg points tho.

Yesterday, the Pug train went off the rails.

St Croix A was supposed to be a good track for us. Then we found out just how many Manufacturers were somehow better than us. Then the calamities came. schnick making a mistake at a corner which is horrendous for the Pug, Lewis going into last slot only for a bunch of people disconnecting and myself being punted off or simply having all the OP cars dominate the grid. The changes made in between the Stages and the combos have put us at a huge disadvantage to where our odds at this juncture are slim.

We're still going to fight since there are some insane ideas to try. But we need to catch every break from now on.

Last Saturday, I had 300+ plus points in both races I entered, securing a top 5 in one of them.

I had repeated this yesterday, where I had two additional 300+ points races.

GT Tour 3 New York is announced. Nations Final Race has lot of TBA.

Awesome! I have been waiting for the information on this event and if it was open to the general public. I won't be able to make it on Sunday, but will be attending on Saturday. I hope to be able to meet up with some of you for the first time!

Pro-Am race sounds interesting. Is there any info about it?

Edit: Kazunori Yamauchi is joined on stage by a special guest to announce an exciting new partnership, which will be followed by a special Pro-Am race where 12 FIA GT Championship competitors will be paired with 12 special guests, including a former F1 driver.

Curious about who the former F1 driver could be. They're using the Fittipaldi EF7 for a Nations Cup race... maybe Emerson Fittipaldi?

Had an unexpected win at Nations with the 911. Really surprised because there were 2-3 aliens in the room. It was the 3rd race of the night though so I suspect people were getting tired and/or they didn't practice as much. I ran tests with the KTM and a few other cars as well and while their tyre drop off isn't as severe as the 911, their one lap pace is lacking and even at the end of the race a well preserved 911 can still set reasonably close laptimes. So my strategy was to qualify as high as possible with the 911 and hold it there. Ended up on pole and just gapped myself to 2nd place and won by 6 secs. Pretty chuffed :D Even though I don't like Barcelona I usually do pretty well here. Must be all those laps I played on F1 2002 back in the day

Manu was a complete mess. I feel like more people are focusing on Manu in Oceania now. Even the third slot race is chock full of aliens. Naturally my Evo started near the back. There was a new driver in a Hyundai that I hadn't seen before that keeps making aggressive moves on me and other drivers. Because of him an NSX spun right in front of me. I thought it would've ghosted but it didn't, and I rammed him and got a 2 secs penalty which effectively ruined my race. I closed back up but the same NSX driver divebombed me into the hairpin before the bridge on the last lap (in retaliation or by accident, who knows) which made me lose even more places. Torrid but such is back-of-the-grid racing *shrugs*.

Tonight's races should be interesting. Surprisingly there are a lot of cars competitive in Gr.1 now. I feel like PD did some behind the scenes changes to the physics of some of these cars. Anything from R18, 919, TS050, 908, Alpine, LM55 could be competitive and I even saw the McLaren VGT on the leaderboard! Hope to see the same variety in the race 👍 Alsace is going to be tough as from little experience I have racing there, it's always a massive crashfest because of the nature of variable lines and long corners. Thankfully tyre wear is not that bad for my Evo but the need to save fuel is going to be painful. We'll see.

Alpine VGT '17 and Toyota TS030 dominate the top times for Nations today.

Would I be right in assuming TS030 is better on fuel, and thus a better choice for the race, and is a no stop possible?

It's a tyre race, not a fuel race. No-stop should be possible depending on how good you are at managing tyre wear.

Question time: Would it potentially be better if tire/fuel consumption was typically set to 1x each, but there were other ways to encourage pit strategy? For example, refueling rates, starting with less fuel, having a limited maximum fuel capacity, being able to pick soft/supersoft tires, or even having a required pit stop or two during a race?

It's just a bit hard to gauge things when the rates are changing relatively often, and especially depending on the course.

I was in an A/S lobby for Nations as the lowest rated driver. Qualified very poorly, was over half a second off my best lobby practice QT, so started 9th, my best practice time would have been 3rd. Barry R qualified 2nd, stpatty qualified a bit further back than me. I don't know if it always happens, or if it was just one of those weird quirks of the game, but the driver behind me in the 919 '16 had a phenomenal start, absolutely blasted past me before turn 1. A lot of chaos in the first three bends saw me emerge in 10th, having passed one person, and been passed by another. From there, it was mostly a procession, but one person binned it, another got a 0.5 second penalty that let me past, and I managed 2 genuine hard fought overtakes, partly made possible by the cars ahead appearing to struggle more with tyre wear as the race went on. So I finished 6th for 1057 points, which is a bit disappointing, but I don't generally regard Gr.1 as my strength, nor Interlagos. It makes for a tough decision whether to go again. As it stands, that score will definitely be one of my 10 counting scores, as it's my 5th best score so far. So it's not a case of having nothing to lose by going again, and I'm guessing Barry R will definitely be doing it again, after having some sort of nightmare race to finish off the bottom of the screen. My practice total race time has consistently been about 10 seconds faster than the 2nd place driver, though, so if I can just qualify better, I'm pretty sure I could get a much better result. Birds, hands, bushes.

The driver in the 919 '16 who blasted past me at the start finished 4 places and 8 seconds behind me, so please don't use that car based on me saying you can blast past people at the start, as the only thing achieved is to troll the driver you pass, as you will be a moving road block in front of them.

The 919 has hybrid power, and it would have a full stock of it at the start of the race.

I drove the R18 in a DHR livery so I could pretend I was Jimmy Broadbent. I had fun.

Right time for some more FIA Action. This time we're doing both Nations and Manufacturer for a change! We're racing for fun so lets see what fun we can have :D!

Urgh, that manufacturer race is disappointing. Spent the whole race short shifting and desperately trying to hold onto the slipstream of the cars ahead, and still struggled to make it to the end. Probably would have been a good race with fuel at 6x but at 8x it is just too much for the Mitsubishi :(

1st race with breeminator and stpatty was well... terrible. Stuck behind an alpine and I got caught out with the camber. Destroyed the tyres doing a donut and fell in the dark depths of the grid.. nothing like binning it from a good position.
Just done the 8pm. Pole, fastest lap and the win.. jobs done for the night

Felt bad for you when I went past, I'd seen you in the top 3 for most of the race. Well done.

I chose the TS030 after finding myself right at home during some test laps with that and the R18 '11.

Had the magic combo of Pole, Fastest Lap and then a win. I wasn't too worried when I was being caught by Alpines early on, they are damn quick on the straight, but by the end I had a comfortable gap even after a couple of minor slip ups because since @mthomas_95 mentioned they ruin tyres I knew I just had to stay ahead long enough.

Manufacturers was not fun, Gr4 at Alsace is just a bit tedious. I have been falling out of love with Gr4 but especially coming from Gr.1 I just found it pedestrian in particular today.

Not long till the end now. Another year, another FIA season. Now I'm more looking forward to watching the upcoming world tour events.

Quick report from tonight's Nations. Entered the 20:00 race in the TS030 (and apparently, so did nearly everyone else in my lobby), qualified 11th with a time of 1:20.778. A fairly consistent, but otherwise uneventful meeting for me. Managed to gain one place on the opening lap thanks to another TS030 being sent to the run-off area between turns 2 and 3, and another by passing a third TS030 while braking into Descida do Lago. Closely followed a Peugeot for much of the distance, but its straight-line speed cancelled out whatever gains I could make through corners and under acceleration. Settled for 9th place, 1,128 points and another 'Clean Race' bonus.
