Well you guys all sound like Aliens to me! I made 772 points finishing 6th/ 20 at Suzuka gr2 last night, in my measly DR C SR S race.

Must be a few online though, every racer was a DR C - once I hit SR S most races have at least a few B and D.

I was feeling great passing all the people facing the wrong way...then had a couple of almost mishaps myself...but bit the bullet and slammed the brakes on quick enough to kill a spin. I q 13th at 1:55.3, just shy of my 20 mins of practise that hit 155.0.

Was amazing to keep climbing the ranks despite the people around me having pace on me...and ironically the guy who finished in front of me was the only one I made an actual pass on, rather than overtaking people who had spun. I really learnt I need to make time on those last 2 corners!

772 points for 6th? What gives? Hahaha. I won my race in a lobby with mostly B S drivers (including myself) and I only got 538 points.
I still don't understand this points system...

It is based off the ratings of all the drivers in a lobby.

A race against B Rated drivers isn't going to get you as many points as a race against A+ or A drivers

Even finishing 10th in a full A+ lobby will get you way more points than winning a B race.

Was about to say the same, but it is odd considering he got less points than a guy whose field was a mixed bag from B to D

What was funny about it was i hit the stack on the right hander and completely stopped ( those tires must be made of concrete) lost my 10sec lead, but as 2nd place caught up...

Luckily it was my pit in lap so i didn't lose too much time, still won the race by over 10sec

Won Dragon Tail too!
Went into the pits at halfway in second, but i seemed to be one of the few who took tires, because I came out with 4 cars ahead of me (the leader was about 7sec ahead)
However, I think changing tires was the right call because i chased them down and got the lead with a lap and a half to go. Won by about 2.5sec
Also the first win for my Dale Earnhardt Sr. Corvette livery!

Somebody tried to force me into them by closing the door on me, I barely avoided them but still got a penalty for the contact with the other driver who I found no way past in like 6 laps because he was blocking furiously and I didn‘t want to force my way through although my pace was better

Yeah, it can be really tough when you get stuck behind a guy that's just blocking. Your best bet in that situation is try and follow as close as possible (without making contact obviously) and try to intimidate them into making a mistake. Or, if they are the type that drives with the rear view mirror, start taking weird/unideal lines into corners, if they are paying too much attention to what you're doing, you can snooker them into making a mistake.
Its oh so satisfying to see them sail off into a gravel trap because they were paying too much attention to you, and not the track!

Welp no McLaren video today folks, I got killed by someones lag after climbing 5 positions, was 2200-ish points on the cards but instead I get engine damage, a 10 second penalty, 13th place and some lost DR... mmmmmm

You have got a 10 sec penalty for risky and aggressive move on me for P6 in right hand high speed corner after fist chicane on Dragon Trail. I've got a 1 sec penalty and lost my racing line. After that you slowed down to serve your penalty and I was hit from behind by Lancer and rolled back to P12. Then we fight for P12 till the end of the race with clean overtakes, but that first move from you in a wrong place ruined the race for both of us.

You hit that and car is totalled for a good while, leading up to the hairpin (at 1st Degner) going slow. Good thing i had a 25 sec lead over 3rd.

Yes you are right.
It was this annoying game error and blue screen just after crossing finish lane on P8 before the confirmation of results.
And that happened after an accident with mclarenLB on Manufacture Race.
It was very painful evening

Yea... it happened to me in the past...
Most times in start connection period... it's frustrating...
Sometimes it happened also during the race...
A couple of times it happened during a race i was having a defensive strategy... i think not unfair (no bumps, no collisions, no penalties) but surely forced (for exapmle defensive lines but no more than 1 change of direction): i almost thought that i was kicked out by some kind of race moderators...
Is it a silly suggestion and simply i lost my connection?

It was a clean race for me.
Its simply some bugs in GTSport with game errors and disconnections from lobbies.

Yeah I was halfway alongside your car on the inside, so just try and leave a bit more space next time, good race in the last few laps though, did enjoy it

It gave me an amount of points that very close to the one I would get in that all A+ group (The total time in this one would be a 5th in that one)

Man I hate that Mazda Gr. 4. I’ve never been able to do anything with it. Just doesn’t suit my driving style, only drive it out of a sense of honour. Couldn’t get below 1:47 at Dragon Trail, was in the same race as @OutlawQuadrnt and embarrassed myself, qualifying 15th, and getting 12 secs of penalties because the car likes to brake later than I’m comfortable with plus I miscalculated and put in one lap too few of fuel, so ran out at the end and finished 16th. I should’ve been at least 20 secs further down the road, probably challenging for a top 10 at least. Should’ve used Subaru or Lexus since those are the cars I actually enjoy using

Yesterday in FIA race...Unbelievable!!! All drivers were A/S. Took me from 5th to 9th. They were mad that I was passing due to the driver going off the road allowing me to catch/pass them. I got a 10sec penalty for that brake check also. What you dont see is after that he rammed me full speed at the chicane after that, too. I reported him and have the whole race saved.

Well, I raced the 8pm EST Nations race. I hadn't fully recovered my DR from a DR reset to B from a few weeks ago - so being about 1/5 through A I was the #1 seed in the 3rd split

Qualifying didn't go very well - got a mid 1:51, but I don't seem to have a ton of pace on this track, even though I've driven it a lot - I just can't find the time. Qualified P2.
On turn 1, P3 went for an outside move and left me very little space, I clipped the curb a little and shoved him wide (completely on accident) it sucks because there was a full car width of space to his left, but he was really squeezing me - not sure why he went for a turn 1 overtake when I qualified 7 tenths faster.
P1 spun out and hit the wall out of the first chicane.

I drove away from the field while conserving fuel, almost had an accident coming out of turn 1 too hard - spun the back end - caught it - but I went into the grass, just managed to get back up to speed as P2 caught up to me - erasing my 4 second gap.

I stopped at the end of lap 7 whereas everyone else seemed to stop at end of 6 - I overfilled fuel a tiny bit allowing for minimal fuel conservation on my second stint and I pulled away from the field - finished 13 seconds clear of P2.

Unfortunately the lobby was only 4 DR A drivers (low DR A at that) everyone else was DR B.
Gained 1200 DR, up to 34000 - need to get back to 45000 where I had seemed to plateau.

NVM saw you write it - you didn't get brake checked, you completely missed your braking point.

I was in that race with you too, driving the Caterpillar Madza Gr.4 (Bandit_Ra_X). I am glad I was not the only one frustrated by the whole thing. Went from 8th to 13th. A lot of red penalty flashing in the beginning and the end. I did make mistakes of my own, but some people were impatient nonetheless. That's racing though.

This was caused by my loss of concentration. Could not believe someone was doing this in this race.

That sucks, I've had it happen to me - unfortunately some people are win at all costs, just have to drive around them extra cautious and force them into a mistake because they won't let you get by on a clean pass.

Unfortunately there's not.

i'm searching for it too but... nothing that i know...

@jasguer site ( http://www.jasonguernsey.net/gts) has the section about FIA Championships but unfortunately it's updated till 19th test season and he's not working a lot to the site so... it's not expected he fixes this, at least not soon.

i've also stressed @fideles1986 (companion app owner) for this but... for now they are focused on "social" stuff as improvements... hope soon he could face also this...

if anyone has other sources says us...
