yesterday in race C Suzuzka Gr1 there was a false start. Normaly it should have been flying start. First race ok. Second race the autopilot turned immediately off and so we had sudden control over the cars directly in the beginning, so it was in the end standing start with flying start distances to each other

I tried the Suzuka Nations Cup race. I was in a Subaru WRX Gr.4 because i'm too much of a pussy to drive a 2wd car with only hard tyres. Spun the car into a wall after accidentally getting a bit on the grass. After then, I was doing so badly that I just quit the race. I might not compete in FiA races again. Too hard. You guys are way too good for me.

I am also getting my arse handed to me. A/S driver here. Qualifying mistakes and race pace dropoffs are killing me. I would never think of quitting, though, because it's too much fun.

Well, like a certain Julius Caesar said.............Veni, Vidi..........e FAILi :p Really strong grid, but a fatal error during a great duel with a spaniard put me in the sand :yuck: Finished 17th :guilty: well I hope someone will stream the Top 24, because I need to see someone really good at this game  For the others see you in the final season ;)

I have a 3:54.4 on the leaderboards where I botched the Porsche Curves , and ran Lightnings pace in a practice lobby earlier, but if the Top 24 crashes I guess its all for nothing :(

My fingers are crossed so hard right now :nervous:
Might consider going for a regular race? Could pay off

Well, you can tell who the people who break out the Megane Trophy for FIA events and don't have the talent or patience to drive it consistently for 11 laps are.

20 car grid, 16 Trophys, 2 Megane Gr.4s, a GT-R and my Atenza (I drive Mazdas; no, I don't care). Qualified 11th ish, then got nosed out of just about any corner that required particularly heavy braking. Ended up roasting my tyres and having to take new ones at my pit stop. One of the Trophys was particularly bad at driving it and managed to:
* Crash at 130R, immediately rejoin the track at pace and sideswipe another Trophy, then recover from that back onto the track at crawling pace in the braking zone and around the Triangle
* Brakecheck me (despite the fact I always brake, or coast, well before the braking point when running up another car's arse) while alongside another car at 130R, try to turn in on that car, fail, run wide, get me a 10s penalty (he ran off the track after I hit him with his brakecheck, so 10s to me!)
* Try to ram me (we're talking full width veering across the track to run into the back of me) as I was leaving the pits. Sadly I jumped off the gas to serve some of the penalty he got me, so I ghosted out)
* Crash again at 130R, immediately rejoin the track at pace and sideswipe another Trophy again.

Absolute poop chute.

Also I was 1.4s slower in qualifying than in practice for ultimate pace, and about 1s off my consistent practice pace. No idea why.

C/S for me. I'd rather quit. I don't find it fun because I'm not very good at it.

I have never seen a Top 24 race, or any pro GT Racers, not sure the best place to look out for them, going to keep an eye on this channel.

I would have thought GT would have a spectating channel for top races since they want it to be an ESport, but I might not be looking properly.

They are working on it. I think they are recording commentary for Top 24 races for a post-race recording, and maybe in the future will actually livestream them.

I was racing the manufacturer today afternoon on my french account at Le Mans with my D DR.
I did the 6th laps at a good pace alone and finish with more than a minute over the second.
So i've stopped just before the line to wait for the people and allow them to finish the race in time.
After around 15 or 20 seconds stopped close to the line , i was disqualified , there was a message on my screen but i didn't have time to read it.
It's a good advise for me and it can be for anybody who didn't knew about this.

Season 2 has been a right pr**k and I'm glad it's over lol. Another miserable quali for the Nations race and finished 11th. Le Mans was pretty intense with all the slipstreaming and I managed to finish 8th despite starting way down the field. Youtuber Super GT was in the manufacturers lobby that I was in and he won by over 20 seconds  I was lucky to cross the finish line in time  Roll on season 3 I say! Hopefully it'll bring a lot more joy than season 2. Karting at Tsukuba should be a good un.

Currently doing some last minute practice for the Manufacturer Race. What kinda throws me off is that in Free Run, I can get 3:57.5, but when I turn on tire life and fuel, I can't go under 4:00.00. Does anyone feel the same way about that for this and/or any other track?
Trying not to sound like I'm complaining, so my apologies if it comes off as that.

Was one of my best lap times. Believe it was timed using the gregorian calendar :)
Between that and my low speed Beetle race at Le Mans in the Manufacturers, I think I should have just watched @Tidgney 's live stream.
I feel you buddy. Pretty sure both my races tonight will be dropped.. should have just watched Tidgney!

Disaster for me in Nations.
Note to self: don't jump in to races :D:D

Came home and jumped right in time, qualy 15th but make few mistakes arms fall off to last.
Caught up pretty quick and followed 12-16 group till they started crashing each other.

Then run into a guy hell bent on taking everyone out.
After me he proceeds to ram anyone in the way, they just let him pass, literally.

Finishes 12th I think, trolls me at the end in chat.. Lol?

Kinda boring race otherwise, trophy 11 one-make.

They need to do something with it. Don't use it and it's mega gimp, use it and it's one-make.:indiff:

continued my crap end to Season 2 with some crap efforts tonight

Manufacturers I qualified 8th, got a very harsh 0.6s penalty on one of the chicanes, tried to burn it off just before crossing the line but it refused to do so, so crossed the line with the penalty intact and lost a couple of seconds driving slowly. was 2.5s off pole...

race was going OK until I realised that I was going to have to 2 stop going by how my fuel consumption was going, so I pitted on lap 2 as I probably would have struggled to get another one in and decided to try and fuel save to the end. would have gone OK apart from when I was fiddling with the fuel map settings and totally forgot to actually brake for one of the chicanes, slammed straight into the wall and got a penalty for my trouble. trundled home after that, finished 11th I think. should have been a few places higher.

The Megane race started OK, qualified 8th and made up a place off the start, felt faster than the cars ahead but drove within myself and saved a bit of fuel. wasn't sure when to stop as I kept doing PBs and eventually got to lap 7 when I decided to pit. clipped the pit wall on the left, span me round and left me sat in the pit lane facing the wrong way. no idea what to do, so reversed hoping it'd just trigger me going into the pits but instead it reset me back on the pit straight, past the pit lane entrance and with a 5 second penalty. fortunately I still had enough fuel to get to the pits, but got caught up driving with a couple of idiots who seemed to be trying to drive through me, lost time, drove badly, finished 11th.

feel like I'm not getting the results i should be getting at the moment, but at least today I can't really blame anyone but myself.

Well, first post here while i've been reading the forum for a while now, just wanted to show what happened to me and my team mate during top 24, hard way to have your race ruined when you could have reached top 10 at the end :/ this guy took both of us out without at least trying to avoid us while his braking point was missed by far, he also forced his way at the very start of the race apparently... Good job to the guys in front, that was 4s faster than our scrim race TRL_LIGHTNING, gg to you and to all clean drivers in that race

Unlucky man he certainly wasn't making many friends tonight in both Nations and Manufacturers. Definitely stood out as the vast majority of people in that race were clean and fair (and I would know having to pass a fair few on that 2 stop )

Is PSN down? I just finished (and luckily saved) a livery, and then the game disconnected and crashed. I'm getting an error when trying to sign in now (WS-37431-8).

If the game didn't crash it would've cost me my Manufacture's entry.
