Honestly, the mention of "Hollywood Effects" was probably used as a marketing term, to make the game seem more interesting. Iirc, what was being shown the instant that phrase was said, was a 458 spitting out some exhaust flames.
Eh, that's hardly worth getting upset over then unless it means more useless replay views that show trees or the windshield.
I know you aren't, but apparently it will "spoil" the experience....
I'm not upset over it but I know what you mean.
this, PD didnt even out source there models, they made them all from scratch. If they did, It would not have taken them 6 years to model 200 of the thingsI suspect they were photographed and paintsteakingly manually modelled
Not impressed with the Grafix at all, not better than GT5. Now community features look awesome....Is that enough to get me to buy an XB360? Don't think so....btw who does hands free racing? Why do I need to open my Convertible or open doors in a racing game? This ain't midnight club......
whatsgt5whats the point of opening doors when u cant get in?
i dont see why yo cant use a dfgt or g25/27 for forza, so dumb...
Not in NASCAR, where there are no car doors, at least.Absolutely. Because no one opens car doors or puts the convertible top down in real racing, right? Couldn't you at least base your displeasure on something that makes sense?
About 5 months ago, shortly before GT5 was released, I considered seeling my Xbox because there weren't many exclusives that were good enough to make me play both consoles.
I am really, really glad I was too lazy to sell my Xbox because I can not wait for this game. I'll try not to get myself too worked up like I did with FM3 and end up building up impossible expectations, but still, really looking forward to this.
Also, I heard something about the Xbox getting a new processor and some more RAM some time near the holiday season, as well as some new copy protection software for the discs that should free up 1-2GB. Of course, these are just rumors, but if their true I'm thinking this game will use them.
Not gonna lie, I'm NOT a fan of this fictional car in the game. I'd rather have the Oscar Myer Hotdogmobile in the game. At least it's real.

Look on the bright side, you won't have to use it.
Also, be careful what you wish for.

What's this, you ask? The next generation of Xbox 360 development, that's what. With a shockingly small amount of fanfare, Microsoft has ushered in a striking new Xbox Development Kit, which is purportedly designed to increase efficiency and reduce cost for Xbox 360 dev teams. Aside from boasting an undisclosed uptick in RAM, built-in flash memory, a more capacious hard drive and a slimmer form factor, this XDK will also be sold at a "significantly reduced price from its predecessor." 'Course, the folks in Redmond aren't saying what exactly that sticker will look like, but those interested in taking the plunge regardless will also have the option to license a Sidecar attachment that enables debugging and disc emulation. We're told that said accessory can be shared among multiple XDK consoles, and in turn, it should lower the overall price to create, test, debug, and release an Xbox 360 or Xbox Live Arcade game. It's still a guessing game when it comes to an actual launch date, but it'll become "the standard kit" when new orders are fulfilled in the future. Feel free to peruse the gallery below if you're interested, and toss out a wild guess as to what that Sidecar will go for on eBay during the next century. Aim high, bub!
You must not have seen the trailers we saw then.
