I'm sorry no I didn't play Forza 5 I'm just commenting videos and I saw slow AI. Please don't expect everyone to know everything about a game it has yet to be released. Anyway sounds like you played Forza 5 so how was this drivatar thing? Positive experience? Competitive racing against AI? Do they drive clean and fast?

You come off like you want forza to fail, having little jabs at it.. Not cool!.

Drivatars are absolutely great. I play against pro drivatars and to get a victory I have to race very well.. I normally get a 2nd-3rd if I don't know the track very well.

There's no racer out there that had given me the thrill of an online race in single player-apart from Forza and forza 6 will just be a step up.

Ok as everyone is saying seems like the drops are caused by youtube.

Now speaking about gameplay in the video you posted, I see the slowest AI ever, slower than Gran Turismo. I hope it's just entry level AI and there's the option somewhere to increase their pace.
You got your original post pushed so far in, now you have to find something else to comment on to try & save face.

You can keep quoting that post forever if that's your wish. Will be fun looking how people waste their precious free time beating a dead horse. ;)

Sorry do not get me wrong I don't want Forza to fail, I think it's just my bad temper, it's the way I am.:banghead::D

Wow sounds like this drivatar feature is what I'm looking for in a racing game. Now I'm interested. Only problem is steering wheel for Xbox one.

@Fortinbras Not that one for me. 400 € for a repackaged G27 + 60 € for shifter. It's a rip off imho.
Do Fanatech have a decent 250 € / 300 € wheel + pedals for xbox one?

Uhhh Dan said today in a gamespot vid that the Ring will have weather, and has over 500 puddles. Could be night also, nothing confirmed however

Il find the link with confirmed tracks. Great to hear Nurburgring has rain, thatl be more impressive than night racing.. But I'm with you on wanting night racing there, especially after seeing it in action!(best night racing in any racer?) we shall see..

I'm glad to see that they properly implemented "night" racing and not a slightly dark twilight like Horizon (my interest in Horizon 2 was short lived so I don't recall if nighttime was any better. It didn't help that dark only lasted about 15 minutes).

I could be tempted by one of those. I always found the Logitech wheels I used in my PS2-3 days very reliable and robust

maybe its the game (pCARS) that's making the Thrustmaster wheels look bad, but those people are having a torrid time getting any kind of joy out of them at the moment
Your paying premium price for decade old tech with the new Logitech wheels. My Thrustmaster TX works fantastically with FM5 and give much better feel than I used to get out of my old G25 (which the new G290 is almost the same as). Most of the issues in P Cars are down to the complicated ffb options and a lot of people not knowing what the fudge they are doing.

Turn 10 just sent us this super high quality 60 fps version of the gameplay footage of Forza Motorsport 6 they released a few days ago. Many thanks to them and especially Helios for this, 60 fps certainly does wonders for this game!

Contrary to what some rather unsavory people on youtube pretended, this is the first time the real 60 fps footage is available, this is not interpolated from a 30 fps video.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Forza is very vibrant in terms of colour, leading to it looking less like typical real life. But I like that because it's a game, people wish for bright, colourful days in real life for a reason.

Why try and go for ultra realistic physics with advanced tire models then spoil it all with a unrealistic looking of the game? That to me says they are confused on the direction Forza is at.

By such logic, the developers of Driveclub must be confused as to what kind of game they're developing with so much emphasis on it needing today's technology to make it look as stunning as it does, yet not simulate real world physics like GT or Forza.

Because it takes two things people want and puts them together. Nice environments and good physics.

This. 👍 I love colourful games nowadays, even if they look cartoony. :D Overly realistic ones like Driveclub just bore me (unless its gameplay is fun that is)...
