What do you expect the Power Pack DLC will cost?

Grid starts aswell which is something people have been screaming for.

Already had AU$30 in my account after cashing in thanks to Playstation Stars so an extra AU$15 is nothing to me.

Will be getting it as soon as it's live.

How much are each car?
The way I read it is you use the stars you earn from completing events instead of Cr.

It's 50 events, some of them endurance events that will take YOU about a month to complete if you choose to do it yourself. BUT, you don't have to, because it includes a new AI agent (B-spec). There's more than enough in this DLC to keep people occupied for months.

Has B-spec been announced for the power pack?

Without Spec III, the Power Pack cannot exist...

What is your question again ?
I mean. In the 50 Power Pack races, do you think there are races like Montreal and Yas Marina? Or are there none of those?

Here we go...37 rewards to collect( 6 cars and 31 unknowns)....this is going to take a while(woot woot)....i see many stars in everyone's future...i think this is going to be a blast!!
Edit:..Just noticed 6 different colors,...so im guessing, complete each color will get you a car.....i'm getting the feeling this is going to be a hard challenge!

I put a clean shot in the article and in this post:

At first glance when I saw the image of the Nissan Skyline GT-R GP-Tuned I mistook it for a specially race prepared Peugeot 504.

Still I'm more than happy with what we've been given. Maybe future free updates will include more specially prepared versions of existing cars that are already in the game and serve as a replacement for the race modification option from previous GT titles and possibly even add more events as well.

Refreshing pair of additional content which will hopefully serve to make GT8 or whatever the next GT title will be called, a more in-depth and feature rich title in the series when it eventually releases.

I'm all in. 👍

curious but at the same time "stupid" question, do you think that in the future we will have other races in Power pack or will they always and forever remain 50?

That I wouldn’t mind. Race versions of the muscle cars. Get some trans am stuff in there perhaps.

Hi, do you think Sophie 3.0 will have the same difficulty levels as 2.0? Because if it's unique then it would be a problem for me, since I'm not very strong.

Those rewards counts roulette tickets...

It seems you pick difficulty by which of the preset cars you chose to race with, but unclear if this changes the sophy difficulty level or it just comes down to your car performance

Yes, I’m saying how much/many stars per car?

is that a race version of the 911 GT1 behind the Mclaren? i know we have the strassenversion, but it doesn't balance well with the longtail, so i'm wondering will they reduce the weight and raise the downforce on the 911, or do the opposite and slow down the Mclaren?

Nah, it's the Street Version. They have to Mickey Mouse it to get it to fit the other GT1 cars because they haven't added the race-spec car yet.

I prefer the difficulty level, because it makes the races more competitive than racing based on the use of a more performing car or not.

Interested to see if there is any level of suspension adjustments allowed to the available “tuned” cars for each race. I find some of those available for online races have bias towards understeer. Be nice if you can adjust the balance to your preference.

If they are going for realism, they should, even in full spec series you can tweak the handling characteristics.

Will find out soon enough I guess.

Anyone else confused by the Mustang in the power pack trailer? In one shot, it looks like this:

Simplified side panels and bumper with no diffuser as well as much different mirrors and rear wing, making it visually abit closer to the Real life TA2 Silhouette

But then comes this part of the trailer:

And you can very clearly see it sports the GR.3 car's side panels and Rear Diffuser.

This has been making my head spin.

They can tweak the numbers as they want, beyond what players can do ingame.

Maybe they gonna realize they miss a car like a 911 GT1 now.

I've suffered a major back sprain and probably won't be able to get in and out of my seat with much ease so I look forward to all the reviews before I purchase.

I think the price might be a bit steep but if the racing is indeed thrilling and most of the races are in the half an hour to hour time range, it will be a 'must buy'.

Shot in the dark, but maybe it's customizable?

You're talking my language. Love to see some more classic cars getting the race mod treatment. FIA Group 4 style racers is what I'd like to see as well.

Just like any digital content. Anyone who buys a game on release day or even the pre-order versions knows what they're getting into. But FOMO gets the best of a lot us of and we can't be mad when we see the same content 70% off or even free a couple of years down the road.
I totally agree!

Hmmm… $30 is “up there”. I wasn’t ever going to be hopping into the DLC day one (not least cuz I wasn’t expecting my PS5 to be delivered until the weekend), but there’s further downers now with the newest unveil, though a few uppers too.

The mystery Beetle and 911 ending up being only two of six premade “Special Tune” variants is a little bit of a deflate, I was kinda getting my hopes up for a GT Auto expansion, but oh well. They’re still decently interesting cars, but also kind of a bummer that there’s only 6.

Apparently all pre-selected cars, zero races where you can pick from your garage? Thats a huge bummer for me, my biggest joys in GT is creating something from my garage that I can then keep using for other parts of the game/online.

The “star system” is giving me war flashbacks from GT6. :ill: Maybe this one will play better since there’s at least actual AI and “routes” through the event map.

It looks like they’ve deleted the restart button. 😬

I really like the look of the custom liveries and grids that have been set up, even if my choice of entry is somewhat limited. The racing itself looks extremely compelling. I’m still curious how the longer races will be handled, and what further mods can be done to the “tuned” cars exclusive to the Power Pack. I’ll probably end up snapping it up but I may give it a couple weeks, I still have 3 years of catch up to do in GT7 anyways.

I can’t see that a paid dlc will be further extended for no additional costs.
Would think about a second power pack at some point if this will be successful.

While its preselected cars for me this is still an instant buy, really cool, with special edition cars as well, very intrested to see what we get in rewards to,
Power pack is even a more highlight for me than spec lll, but both combined will make it a huge update.

I know this will be going against the tide but I don't understand the excitement around this.

£30 is far too much imo, but good business model i guess. Don't include basic modes / events in the base game that really should be there as they have been in previous games which i think it's fair to say 90% of people on here would want and PD are aware of this site so reasonable to say they know it's a popular wish and add it back in at a ridiculous price.

I'd also assume, possibly some form or DLC was planned from the start of the game and not just decided to do after year 1, if so, why lock out an entire user base from the DLC, it was a bad decision to have this as a cross gen game to begin with. So PS4 users won't get access to the 6 new cars, at least the 2 new tracks are spec 3 content not PP content...

And thats another point, why have the DLC at all? Add as much into the Spec 3 update so everyone gets it and then charge less for the opportunity to race the Sophy AI as separate DLC.

Nice to finally get more info. Disappointing-- but not surprising, to see that it has the PD quirks. I'm not thrilled about pre-selected cars or that they all kinda look like the janky tuned cars you see in the other tuned car events and less like them trying to accurately replicate the real race versions the way we do as players. And let me use my own real liveries somehow.

Also think they should've clarified exactly what makes Sophy 3.0 different.

Eh, whatever. I'll buy it, try some events, and see how the whole thing feels.

That is cool. I wonder if we can add these more unique type attachments to existing cars in the game or at least to the newly released Spec 3 cars, in case they don't add any more specific race modded vehicles like those included in the power pack, like I mentioned in my previous posts.

You can never have enough customisation options for vehicles. Gimme MOAR!

I think the bottom shot is from a Gr.3 specific race (notice the BMW M6 on the left) and so we're just looking at the back of the regular Mustang Gr.3.
