Since this is the world's main forum for GT, I can just imagine someone from PD scrolling through the posts and then realizing that the 90s Twingo is getting the most support from the community, even though they only included it as a joke.

Another car that would go well with the Twingo would be the Opel Corsa B.

I think they know it anyway. But twingo gives them zero revenue, however new EVs from China probably come with a lot of money even though PD knows they are not used in the game

There are extra races added to the Power Pack. I guess for those who don't have the Power Pack, not only are the missing out on exclusive cars, unique SOPHY and endurance events, they'll be missing out on more ways to earn credits. I guess.
Get the Power Pack

Get the Power Pack
I mean, I have the Power Pack. Got my initial use out of it. There are many who don't want to spend the money for the Power Pack for content that could have just been added to the base game.
There's a bit of extra stuff for people who paid extra money, what's the problem?
I don't know. I don't see a problem. I took a guess.

The Yangwang U9 Xtreme isn't the 3000hp car, it is just the normal road car version :grumpy::mad:
It just the 2024 model U9 painted in red to look like U9 Xtreme, they played us like a damn fiddle.
But I'm pretty sure the Xtreme will come later, BYD isn't going to let PD steal the spotlight away from their upcoming top speed run.
I'm pretty sure they won't stop at 496.22 km/h and wants another attempt.

You can expect the NPC from Used Cars say some blurb about the Twingo having a lot of character and being fun to drive. He says that for many of these slow economy cars (Panda for example).

I was worried they'd add another Sunday Cup for the Twingo but instead we got a WTC 900 race. Unfortunately. Gr.2 was broken by a physics update which made the 2016 Super GT cars OP and nerfed the GT1 cars to oblivion (especially the McLaren).

To me it is all very fair. They have invested time and effort to develop it, they sell it for a moderate fee. It is good value for me. Almost every month we have a free update and still people are not happy. I can only suggest to move to iRacing for a happier life, I guess:-))

I like the DLC idea but i find it little bit expensive for what it is and still waiting for the price cut but it seems to be selling well :D

Really interesting. I find GT7 very cheap for what it is and I am very honest here. I am surprised it can cost only that much and be fully regularly updated for 4 years already while other games that cost the same are long forgotten

Amethyst paint please. 🙏
I would love to see the Amazon green pearl & Lavender blue from 1993.

And really want the Violet blue from 1992 for my Carrera RS. :(

I wonder why PD didn't include it in the color database for this model. I know it was an option that year (Porsche/VW/Audi) although I'm not sure if it could be selected with the RS trim specifically.

I don't think that there are extra races added (and even if, what's the issue). You will simply get the weekly opportunity to get gold ingots/credits from doing 1, 2, 3 of any event in the PP.

Power Pack
 - 'Power Pack Challenges' have been added. In this mode players can receive a variety of rewards according to the number of races completed within the fixed period. Please note the 'Power Pack' is a paid DLC only available for the PlayStation®5 version of 'Gran Turismo 7.'
[...]
 - It is now possible to use Garage cars;
 - Race difficulty has been adjusted;
 - The start type has been changed on certain races;

So many great news for PP ! Great update on that aspect !

Oh wow, a reverse Nordschleife circuit experience :cool:
They want us to suffer I guess lmao

I guess now is the time to buy Power Pack. For some reason, not being able to use garage cars kept me from buying it back then.

I was hoping it will never happen in my life because getting gold in normal Nordschleife CE was not super easy….
Golding the Nord CE for the first time felt like climbing a mountain. Golding it again was an exercise in frustration, because I learned enough about my driving to know that the M6 GT3 was the worst car I have ever driven in GT7.

The one who set that car up hates drivers.

I hope that splitting the reverse Nord into sectors will help the learning process. A special event in the weeklies featuring the track would be nice too.

That aside, I am ready to spend a hilarious amount of credits to make the Twingo and Kangoo fast.

Using own cars in PP is easily the best addition of this update for me.

BTW as 'old' GT player since edition 1 it was kinda fun/ironic to read all the comments about people being unhappy with it being an actual Porsche instead of a RUF haha. Good times.

Wonder what it can be... No more invites on the wheel of despair ? 😅
PD: but we need to keep the invites for those poor players who have not reached level 70!

Also PD: Players will receive all invites and duplicates, except one algorithmically selected to annoy each player specifically. Here, have a carbon drive shaft instead!

Patch notes are up.

Possibly big news for the Power Pack:

That would be so great !!!

Unexpected & awesome.

Now add proper mid race saves next.

Honestly, I don't like it. I think it's a L for Power Pack. If I can use any vehicle from my garage, where is the benefit of using a less powered car? In my opinion it was a great decision to limit the selection and rewarding the player by more Credits if they use a weaker car (110% or 120% more credits). Having endless opportunities isn't always the best option cause in the end you still use the same cars you like and know. With the selection of 3 cars you have to use cars you don't know that you may like them. I liked the system cause I drove cars which I otherwise would not have driven.

Guess I have to see it with my own eyes but for now I disagree. It isn't a good decision. Proper mid-save possibilites would be.
