959 and the race car really have my interest piqued! I bet the 959 will be in Legends so it'll likely be pricey.
Did you noticed changes with the FFB of the G-Pro? Mine is way lighter when not putting steering input. Hard to place the car on corner entry

Me waiting for my delivery. Checks App "Your driver is 1 stop away."

Great update so far as you can see.
That's brilliant

I did. I had to bump up the FFB to try and restore it. Still not so sure about/used to when the fronts lose grip in the corners. It doesn't feel natural anymore, like the car is on ice. Just a dead feeling. Don't like it as much as before.

Agree - same here

And why don't you use the weather radar? you can predict the rain one lap in advance
Not always the case in my experience, for instance the previous race I just finished it was no rain on the radar going up to the pits on Lap 4 so I thought safe enough as there was no cloiudy sky yet, then the radar updated as I was in the pit lane to show rain coming on that lap so I ended up on the wrong tyre choice as it started almost straight after turn 3.

As you say it's easier if it does the rain earlier in the lap then you can saftely dive in. I will keep practicing/watching the radar and see how the weekend races go.

Either that rain appeared super quick or you maybe didn't have the map zoomed out all the way.

I discuss FFB with the T300 in this vid:

Just feels so much nicer than before. However a lot of my tunes are useless now. I swear they've messed with the diff physics. A LOT of my GR2 and 3 cars are understeering way too much on corner entry and oversteering on corner exit. I've improved things by changing downforce and LSD settings, old tunes are trash for a lot of cars now

You can zoom out and zoom in the weather radar. with the max zoom out, you can see the weather comes with 3/4minutes advance minimum

Why doesn’t the Endurance layout of Nordschleife have a night version!?
finlly they created the real endurance ambiance next to the track.. But they didn’t implement just like the 24H layout.
Because it is only raced on during the day? The VLN/NLS have four hours races on that track.

Finally got round to doing the nurburgring 800 .
No real effort ... 25 mins ish

Now can someone please tell be why the greatest racing game of all time... the true original driving sim .... gives you

22,000 ish credits per min to race heavily restricted cars round a boring wet fake track were bouncing off the walls in a glitch tune cars your best option

Or

Offers 8000 credits per min to race in one of the many many many super amazing variety of race or road cars round the worlds most famous track ...

The same game that will go ooooh we found a known hitch in the spring frequency on pre 69 cars fixed with wide tyres but no aero so will update it soon ...

If I could swear in this forum it would be BLUE

Is there not a letter of complaint we can make or some sort of protest

ITS BEYOND A JOKE PD

The new cars are great to drive. The 959 is wonderful to throw around and the Alphard had me laughing at just how much fun and good it was to drive, highly unexpected. Going to get another and fully upgrade everything and see how good that can be. The physics update I have found to be an improvement for sure. Midships are much more stable in the corners which has certainly made them more enjoyable. Good job PD last two updates have breathed some life back into the game even if the events added are quite sparce.

My first impression:

Used the 120Hz/Resolution mode and seemed smooth without too much of a visual donwgrade (but the whole picture seemed darker?).

Tried one 10 lap GT700 race at Laguna Seca in a tuned Gr.4 Supra. More lively than before. Real oversteer and such. Harder to handle but ok. (I am on controller and automatic gearing) Before it was easy to win on hard difficulty. This time i had some troubles and just got to first place at the beginning of the final lap. Tire degradation was huge. Could barely make it 5 rounds with RM tires. (Dont know if the tire multiplier for this race changed)
I also find the picture way darker (to dark) when 120fps is turned on.
On the other hand it seems as the frame rate drops more often than before, if I keep my old setting’s - 120fps off and prioritise framerate rater than ray-tracing.

If you have a stupid Sony TV like mine which turns off HDR when VRR is turned on, this is what you are seeing. Lack of HDR making the picture appear dark.

Fully tuned Porsche 904 can do 8 laps on FM1 in WTC700 Le Mans. It's quite efficient and also competitive. Just set the top speed to 280km/h.
I maxed it out and set mine at 335. It'll do 190mph. Won't get 8 laps, though. It will go about 6 laps on FM1.

Because it is only raced on during the day? The VLN/NLS have four hours races on that track.
But it's a video game, they have night working on the track. Why bother restricting it based on layout? Especially when their main competitor is advertising full time and weather on every track in their upcoming game.

If they don't want to use that layout at night in their own races, fine. But there's no reason to completely prevent players from doing so.

The RS5 is a fantastic car to use for the Sardegna 800 event. If you put RH tires on it and detune it just slightly to come in under the pp max you dont even need to replace the tires during the race.
Oh my goodness, yes.

I usually rotate a few GR2 cars and the best lap for each is nearly identical.

1st run with the Audi today and my best lap was 3 seconds faster.

I normally run nine laps then pit for fresh hards and six more laps to finish the race.

With the Audi I did 10 laps then pitted for fresh hards and still came out of the pits well ahead of everyone else.

I won't use any of the car on this grind

That was the first race I tried after the update. I was 2 seconds behind, by the Viper‘s first pit stop. That was with me not even trying hard. Better than my RB25.
Lap times were 1:35s. Again easily. Favourite race car(next to the Supra GT4 and my new Super Taikyu Mazda3) by far.

Physics defo giving me ACC vibes (having to be gentle with inputs) and I quite like it since I also managed well with the day 1 physics that everyone hated. Braking on some cars are also much better but Sheesh, taking more power out of the V12 Vantage, car is already slow before, might as well target midfield in many of the leagues I'm in.

Also that Alphard, very weird car but I love it.😌🫰🏽
