I'd like to add to the VR value discussion, actually. PSVR 2 is the only VR headset which works on a console and PC (with adapter).

It's not the best headset out there, but with price cuts and cross-platform compatibility, I'd say it's the best value.

For a pc, its $1500 for a Pimax, and i dunno.. 3-5k for a rig to properly utilize it. So yeah. A ps5 and gt7 was a bargain. Even if psvr2 had a few compromises. But its years later and Sony, to be frank, has made some bad calls this generation. Also, its years later with gt7 not really evolving or doing much interesting for the last year or so. So i guess in about 6 months it will be time to call it quits on consoles and return to pc’s…or at least one to game on..rest of the house is full of macs. Hard to believe in 2025 that macs suck as hard as they do relative to gaming..but what can you do. 🤷

That‘s not surprising considering the car is a joint effort between Sony and Honda and Gran Turismo is one of Sony‘s most important first-party exclusives.

The problem with this is that your login will still count for the monthly active users metric. Which is what "makes stakeholders happy" and what this idiots are all about now adays. So it keeps this vicious cycle going sadly.

Yeah….id keep leading with “free” as well as there ain’t much to these updates these days.

Hell the Avantine is just a rebodied alphsard, the concept stuff could all be the same thing and well I’m not afeeling the afeela.

Just do car packs already PD and let us choose rather than give us stuff drip fed that 99% aren’t going to drive.

It was tongue in cheek but being honest, if you (PD) were smart you’d model the outside, take the closest proxy and just tune from there would you not? Similar weight, height, length ish

What I don’t think you would do would be to zero all the parameters, do countless test laps in a rare car and hone systematically the precise handling for that one car….it seems like a stretch they drove it for extended periods? And with some of the vision cars they aren’t even driveable? So no I don’t think it’s a stretch at all, just sensibly pragmatic.
