How do you find GT7 stacked against the latest FM game? Let's say, based on driving feel and car engine sounds alone?
Engine sounds in FM23 are sometimes not good and not accurate tbh. Some cars do sound pretty good but certain sounds are replicated on multiple cars (there's a lot of posts I've read suggesting that a Ferrari V8 sound is used all over the place). Inconsistent is a good summary.

GT7 car engine sounds are pretty similar to GTS, to my untrained ears.

As for driving feel, I only use controller but find FM23 very good (definite sense of weight) but some stock settings are too "understeery".

We are now on the ?4th (I think) set of driving physics for GT7. Aside from the "bouncing cars" thing, I find the latest physics pretty good personally. I can drive MR and the RR Porsches much easier now (struggled with almost all Porsches at the start).

I think GT7 and FM23 are quite close in terms of that, to the extent I can easily switch between the two as both games physics feel "intuitive" to me. I prefer GT7 to FM23 in the rain, though.

Neither are a match for AC in driving physics with a wheel, but then I couldn't drive that game at all well using a controller. That's possibly because it doesn't have "dampeners" for controllers which reduce the impact of "lead foot" (lead finger) syndrome which I suffer from when using a controller.

The haptic feedback could be better. For instance, the R2 could become harder to push whenever TCS took place so the player would organically measure the right amount of progressive acceleration.

Thats correct the base engine sounds for the cars is mostly the same as sport, been a few updates, it can have big impact through once you put upgrade parts on the cars, in gt sport the cars never changed in sound from stock even with Max hp, the sounds in gt7 overall is quite good, there is some that could improve more, like Ford Mustang gt 15 and Shelby gt350r, and absolutly Pagani zonda r and Ferrari fxxk. Its just to name the 4 worst sounding cars.

Highlights for sounds is basicly all Porsche 911, Ferrari f430,458, v12 from Lamborghini and Ferraris is mostly good to, v10 Lexus lfa, dodge challanger demon, Corvette zr1 etc

Doing some history work. Does anyone know from which video/presentation these images originated? Off-screen versions of these were in a thread dated around the Copper Box unveil event, but it wasn't on the race stream.

EDIT: A version with Japanese text seems to be part of this Japan 2016 event (third-party report in Japanese), but the stream archive is missing. Indeed, it is now privated.

Damn, time flies. I unironically really like this trailer too, even the music (I know, I know, lol).
See, we all had fun with all the features of GTSport. The single-player modes, arcade mode and sport mode. Even the drift trials were exciting and fun on some tracks of the game. I enjoyed all the special missions too from the game.

Sorry for the confusion, where did you make that livery? In GTsport or gt7? I'm just curious.
I didn't think you were serious. lol

I thought it was a joke, because Stellar Blade wasn't from the GTSport era.

Yes, it's GT7. I made minor modifications to the HintsTwista livery, which left the design open for further modifications.

All of Eve's decals are in private collections. I've asked the guys how to get access to those decals, but I always get conflicting or incorrect answers... :(

Lol, no I wasn't joking. I was just curious about it. That's all. Anyways cool livery and I'm a Stellar Blade fan as well.

I miss gt sport. Played before on PS4 pro still a great game just sad no servers , also wish we could use livery editor, mileage store items wheels and paints :( . Also I wonder if GT7 will get the Mercedes F1 car from GT Sport 🤔

10 years passed since Gran Turismo SPORT was announced at Paris Games Week 2015.

Oh god, my ears...! One thing is guaranteed, we'll never forget that moment when we first saw and heard that first trailer.

Makes me realise that next May will be ten years since I was at Copper Box. Where the hell have those years gone?! And it's 6 MONTHS ALREADY since the London esports event for GT7, how can that be... sheesh.
