Let me rephrase: I want a career mode that has a point. Having a career mode that isn't purely extraneous feels more gratifying and adds something to the experience. When I buy a car and drive it, it feels better to me because I earned it; it is mine. You just don't get that same feeling in pCARS.
Which is fine, but you're not talking about the racing part you're talking about the game part, owning cars, earning money etc. Given that the career mode mimics a real racing career where you don't actually buy your own cars as in most real life racing careers I think it's safe to say you're looking more for a gaming experience rather than a simulated race career. Nothing wrong with that.

huh? is it normal for gtplanet to post rumor?

Why in this last article E3 is mentioned but nothing about this London event? If release date is really already known, PD most likely will reveal it in London.
Looks like news page pretends that we don't know about this event

There's an official source stating GT Sport's release date and E3 is something that is definitely happening.

This London event (currently) only has a single person's E-mail as proof of happening. Whether it looks likely or not, as it stands there isn't enough to write a concrete article on it. ;)

...said the amount of tracks would knock our hat off...

I imagine if you are among the ones that didn’t ran out of patience would consider the essence of the track creator does kind of support that specific claim.

Come on, you and I both know he wasn't talking about that. I don't blame him for it, obviously he was only stating based on what he was told, or had seen, at that time. In fact to me it turns into a positive for GTS because if all these tracks he saw didn't make it into GT6 logic would dictate they'll arrive in GTS.

I'm not excluding he could have had a sneak peek of the feature (work in progress) at the time of that claim. Unless he has been more specific about it in the interval?

But GT5 had a course maker and infinite tracks via it, so why would the number of tracks from GT6 course maker amaze us so much?

We report on what we hear - and we represent it as such. Been that way since at least as far back as the beginning of the PS3 generation, probably longer.
Surprised that the Facebook answers that provided new information regarding GT SPORT weren't reported about.

Jordan and Lucas also going to meet each other in London soon...

If memory serves me well the GT5 attempt was a rather random generator, where the GT6 approach offers a more controlled design. The number of real world inspired layouts available in the appropriate subsection is a good testimony of this IMO.

I must sound like a stuck record on this (can I get banned for repetition? lol) but I'm well excite about GTS now...

My months of PR frustration-related woes have disappeared.

All aboard the hype Skyline.

Completely irrelevant, he mentioned nothing of quality, just that the number of tracks would knock our hats off.

I think what is most likely is that he was told, or shown that as well as the tracks that were in day 1 that the others that later came as DLC would also be there day 1, plus perhaps a couple more.

Silverstone
Brands Hatch
Bathurst
Matterhorn
Ascari
Red Bull Ring
Goodwood
Apricot
Midfield
Sierra

Plus maybe a couple more on day 1 would have probably knocked my hat off.

I'm not saying I'm not aware of something possibly happening either at some point this coming year but what I'm saying is that we don't want to go stepping on anyone's toes regarding an event like this when we currently have speculation and tidbits like that alone. :D

In the year 26,350,246... mankind finally decides that representing years in decimal is getting a bit ridiculous, so they change to Base-36.

Then finally, in the year OCTOBER, Gran Turismo Sport graces planet Earth with a brief flyby before disappearing into the darkness of space for another SOON years.

Well this thread got some gas off the recent news.

Let's see what happens at E3. Can't wait to see Driveclub VR's physics improvements. I hear they'll be right up there with GT.

I'm sorry everyone. Couldn't help it.

Seriously though, I'm waiting to see if GTS was worth the silence.

Day one for me.

Purely for the fact that it'll be, at the very least, a half-decent racing game.

I basically bought my PS4 for this!

Here's one- because you want to.

It's quite silly to say that you want a game to force you to do something that otherwise you wouldn't do.

Silly maybe, but that description could be said to apply to a lot of videogames, especially ones with any form of 'grind'...
