They have detuned them for the fictional "Group 1" categories, and there will also be the "proper" versions available separately.

I feel like beating a dead horse with this event. I love the passion of Poly and their art direction but this is clearly bad! And for sure, 2.5 years of development and still at 50%?! Basic math : 6 months left=/=50%

I just can't believe this is GT sport. It reminds me of GT6 so much specially the sound. I'm kinda disappointed. I just hope this is just an early build.

It just looks, plays and sounds like a developer build. I saw some lighting bugs, shadow LOD bugs (when shadow detail is better when camera is FAR than in up-close, and vise-versa). It's just buggy alpha.

Not exactly a good choice for the first official reveal then is it?
