Grand Theft Auto 5 (or upcoming title) Expectations

I want GTA V to take place either in:
-Sydney (Aussie Muscle)
-Tokyo (JDM)
-Rome (Italian Classics )

Liscensed cars would be cool too.
If not, interior views. Driver SF prooved its possible.

Nope, I seriously doubt we'll get any news on it until after Max Payne 3 has been released in March.

I would like GTA 5 to be as good a shooter as COD, as good a driver as GT and a story line as epic as Spartacus! Can they manage that?

A GTA which plays in the scenery from RDR, but in modern times, would be cool, I actually had this idea ages ago already. A working train line, two countries (USA and Mexico), nice landscapes including snowy environments and deserts, sounds awesome to me.

I just searched for updates on GTA5, but I found these recently uploaded photos that were created by some trickster attempting to fool people.

Alluring, but it isn't grabbing my attention. I wonder why?

That plus my aforementioned suggestion about having a decent sized chunk of gameplay set in prison with a great breakout sequence. Think more escape from alcatraz breakout than all guns blazing.

Another idea I had would be having Nico Bellic as the main bad guy. Forcing players to hate a character they've already come to love.

So how long has it been since GTA IV came out? I know it's been quite a while, so if they've been working on GTA V since the previous games release, then they've had a lot of time to do so. Which means this game is going to be huge. Now if only they would give us a little teaser...

My idea was that you were arrested almost halfway into the game, and had to spend a few hours in prison (months in game time), before staging some epic breakout (think escape from alcatraz), forcing you to hide out in another city, opening the rest of the map to you.
