I got a cracking start, sorry if I hit anyone (was in the orange/black Ruf) I know I pushed someone into the grass. Typically I managed to whack a barrier when I was in 2nd and needed to pit.

I had to 2 stop, thats mainly down to putting too little fuel in to start with. I did find the tyres started to go off around lap 20 though. I was sliding everywhere on the last few laps.

That was sweaty stuff. 52 mins flat out. Until pit stop i forgot to press button to confirm changes. I need practice with pitstops. Good all round racing and clean.

Held onto 2nd for about 10 laps and then spun on the exit of Copse on the last lap

4th was probably about right for me though, the top three were a lot quicker than I was.

I wasn't aware of it either, but I was the first to pit because I was just about to run out of fuel. Think there was a bit of a chain reaction after that.

My race was full of fun lol, last on grid, spun once and took over 100L

I done goofed. I didn't pit on the strength of that above (and I ran for a toilet break before the start, so may have missed the convo). And I probably ended the race with more fuel that everybody started with! I was brimming.

But considering that I think my fastest lap was only 1.6 off of zakspeed's overall fastest lap; and more importantly for me, I probably lost only 1.2 seconds of pace from the tyres over the entire race.

Which if they've factored in weight causing extra degradation, and seeing other people's comments here, I may be a naff qualifying/race pace demon.

EDIT: oh yeah, and also, sorry for any bumping. I was in a McLaren (don't even know the colour!), and as I'm concentrating on manual gears/cockpit view/pedals I tend to go to pieces when close racing.

I may have hit Sven a few times, and on the second lap I'm sure a few of you would have seen me and someone clash at maggotts and both fly off!

Yeah I saw the gap coming down and then it went back up, came back down then went back up, guessed you must have had a off or 2

It doesn't matter, was a good opportunity to get a bit of practice in and get to know everyone a bit better.

Yeah I was also unaware we had to pit. Didn't change any pit strata and no car set up. I might have to look into both of these for future races. Doubt it will help though

Also my starts are bobbins, I thought I'd hold the revs at 3/4s, account for any wheelspin and feed the throttle in. Then it bogged down completely and I went from 3rd to ~8th by the first corner.

Does everyone else just redline it?

After tonight race I have a proposal....

An extra point for turning up. This is a team event after all.
An extra point for finishing the race. One guy quit the session because he felt he fell too far behind, I think a point would be an incentive to push on and finish the race.

This is just an idea however, feel free to tell me to shove it!!!

Had to pit to for more fuel and did also a couple of 360°.
Not bad for the first time , 9 place
Damn.....my fingers with the gamepad phoewieieieie , but it was to gooooood to stop .
