Am I the only one that collects an stores cop cars? Am I the only one that as a #43 Crown Vic and Taurus cruisers that does occasional Gymkhana: 5-0 Edition?

Anyway, I've been playing offline for a change, collecting cars here and there....

I have: an Unmarked Cruiser (Crown Vic), Police Harley, Buffalo Highway Patrol Cruiser (Charger), FIB Unmarked SUV (Suburban) and a bunch of Taurus' and Crown Vic's all shared among Trevor and Franklin.

*I'll post pictures in a bit. My phone tends to derp out.*

So I was patrolling around, as Michael in a Crown Vic, when I decide to go to a hair salon and get a new look for Michael.

I walk in, and immediately, something's off. The lady is just looking at me, a cut scene appears.

There is a 9mm glued to Michael's head by the door. THIS WAS A ROBBERY! AND MICHAEL IS DRESSED AS HIGHWAY PATROL! The robber tells him to get on his knees. Michael has both hands up slowly kneeling down. The guys bolt with the money and get into a getaway car (Range Rover; Baller). I pull out my 9mm Pistol with a Flashlight and fire away. I get the guy in the back seat, and the duffel bag falls out the window.

I return the money ($2000) and get back to my patrol car to drive to another barber.

As I'm driving to my next location, a pursuit flies by me. I turn on my sirens and join in. I follow the chase closely, leaving enough room for the fellow officer in front of me.

Suddenly the suspects collide with traffic, and cause a gridlock. I yank the e-brake, open the door, and get behind it with my pistol out.

*this truly was a Hollywood shootout remake*

There's two officers out (the officers pursuing) and me. Two suspects step out. One has a G18 (AP Pistol) and the other a MAC-9 (for the sake of role play; it is LA after all)

There is a huge shootout, cops and suspects jumping and sliding over cars in pursuit of cover. The end result was two dead officers, two dead suspects and me. I HADN'T SHOT A SINGLE BULLET. MY GUN WAS OUT, AND I WAS IN COVER THE WHOLE TIME.

Officer De Santa was framed. Suddenly I have four stars on me, and all of LSPD on my rear end.

The manhunt was on. I tried every tactic to evade the cops and not shoot a single fellow police officer. I eventually went to the storm drain, and hid there.

Once the whole ordeal was over, I went to the psychiatrist. He told Michael he was going to make a TV show based on Michael and his discussions with the Doc. Michale flips, the Doc runs, and I had to chase him down and kill him.

Sad ending for officer De Santa. Rouge cop kills PhD.

Anyway, I stole an Oracle as Franklin, dressed him up in all white, full beard, customised the car in all white, white wheels (25" rims) blared Hustlin' on my TV, and took a pic of the car.

Seven-forty-five, white on white, that's 🤬 Ross!

Sneak peek at next story frrom Officer De Santa.

Maybe a bit off topic, but I thought I'd share the moment my mind twisted when I found out about an Easter egg.

So, @NoobMan DS posted a little something something in the DYSAGT thread. He mentioned he was in L.A, which of course I instantly think of Los Santos due to my obsessed little noggin. Anywho, I'm lurking around on YouTube and I come across the video everyone has seen about the free Adder that's parked off of the game's version of Rodeo Drive.
Then it hit me.
If you didn't know already, the Bugatti NoobMan posted belonged to Bijan, a very wealthy man who, from ye ol' Wiki, "was an Iranian designer of menswear and fragrances" (think Ralph Lauren). Since Bijan died, his son now owns it and leaves it parked out on Rodeo Drive for everyone to look at.

TL;DR The Veyron parked on Rodeo Drive was owned by a mega super awesome and rich person who designed classy suits that Rockstar decided to put into the game, hence the matching orange and black colors.

This egg is probably as old as time itself by now, but I thought I'd share it for those who didn't know.

Black and orange is the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport's color scheme and the Truffade Adder takes several design cues specifically from the Veyron SS, namely, the roof vents. Just sayin'.

How long does the game load for you guys? It takes forever! Was it like this in GTA IV?
Do you have your XMB or a chat room open when you're loading? It loads significantly quicker when you're just staring at the screen not interacting with it at all.
It still takes a little while though.

I usually don't have anything else open.
I've grown out of the hype myself...

@ProjectWHaT , depends on how you load it. If you load story first, it's not that bad. If you load online first it will take forever.
Would it be faster if I load to story and then join GTAO through the pause menu or character wheel?

That's what I normally do, and I believe it is generally quicker. It also lets you create invite-only and other lobbies like that which you can't do when you're not in single player, but I'm sure you already know that.

I have nothing open apart from the game, as my game stalled during loading once, because of a chat, and that ruined my savegame. Luckily I had 4 backups. :P As for speed, loading story mode is much faster.

So, earlier today, I was playing as Michael, testing out two of the new cars, as well as weapons.

I went to Trevor's airfield, although there wasn't anything to do, since I was still in the first few missions on a new save. I saw a lone dog sitting by the hangar. I bumped into the dog and he started walking in a straight line to the desert. I followed him, just to see where he was going.

He got hit by a train.

He got a 21-gun salute, although it was more like Michael just firing his heavy pistol at the sky 21 times.

Been awhile on here, just wondering if any of those new cars can be obtained in single player?

So haven't played in a while, what are these new cars added?

Think last time I played I was RPing as a spy (with Michael) and followed a random guy round for a bit, then he turned to an alley way and I imagined them saying
"I know why you're here, detective."
"Detective?"
"Yes you. You work for the GIA (Global intelligence agency, because FIB is a bunch of working class monkeys. We wear suits) and think I killed your agent. I never"
"Then tell me who did."
"I shall take it to the grave."
"I was hoping you'd say that."

And I pulled a pistol out and killed him. Got police on me so got into the guys car and headed for the desert. During the chase, the cops started ramming my car, so I decided it was me or them, and threw a sticky bomb on to their car, turned into the lay-by and detonated it. This caused more resistance, they sent helicopters in so I was forced to ditch the car.

Managed to hop on a trains flat back and hide until I got to mount chilliad where I got off. I then walked over to the cable car bit and noticed a man, standing alone. His phone conversation was strange, it was "I don't see any cops, why? Okay. Okay, I'll make sure. See you at the top." So I took the cable car to the top and noticed a man on his phone too. I listened in "What's the delay? What? Who do you think was a cop?" So I pulled my gun out behind him and said "Not a cop, an agent. You killed my best fri-" as he turned around, the face was all to familiar, William, agent 5. "You!" Was all I could muster from my mouth. He took the opportunity to run for it, but he didn't have a big enough opportunity, I aimed and fired: the shot hit him and he fell down into the brown rock. I heard screams of pain, but I imagine he did when he killed Alex. I don't believe in karma, but this certainly felt like it. I shot him, he died.

Members of the public had phoned the police when I got the gun out, so I couldn't get down on a Sanchez, and the cable car would be too long, but I did notice a blue bag, a parachute. I jumped, disappearing into the inky blackness. A ghost to the darkness.

It was fun actually

I've noticed alot of taxi's online lately. I hadn't seen any online before at all. Is it just me?

They were my favorite car to drive on single player but never had them online in my rooms until now. Still no crate drops since the beach bum update though.

Does the Taxi job work online? In singleplayer if you go into a taxi an press the horn button, dispatch could give you people to pick up.

I wish the police cruisers had computers in them so I can at least role play properly. Instead of 'aiding' the AI police officers by cowering behind my car, making sure I don't fire my pistol until they're dead, or the shootout's over. I want to hunt down fugitives!
