Dumb question - where do I kill the sound on the app? Cant see anything in the settings icon, menu button on the phone itself is not mapped in the app... (Samsung S4 mini - Android v4.2.2)

Try pressing down on the volume button, @Barra333. It should get you this:

Press the settings icon on the right, to get to this:

Look for "Media" (should be number two) and turn it all the way down. 👍

Thanks Dean, although I was hoping that there was a setting in the app so that I could avoid playing with global settings.

As far as Android is concerned you can only download the app on the highest end devices. Bollocks.

I thought it was resolution and screen size based. It works on my HTC One but its glitchy, I don't think its full optimised for Android on any phone

Yea, you see, I got the Sony Xperia Acro S with the newest version of Android and it won't work. It can impossibly be taking that much power, right?

Tried the app today, just to make reference to Daft Punk's Electroma I wanted a number plate saying "HUMAN" on a black Banshee to drive into the desert. It didn't work for a while, I went and did stuff, came back and got the pop-up

Now all I do is drive into the desert while saying "HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN HUMAN AFTER ALL!", walk for a bit and watch my best friend explode so I burn myself alive and walk through the night on fire while a song saying how I want to be alone plays. Electroma and Human after all references for you

It's quite laggy on my S3 as well... I suppose that's why it's only top-end devices they let run it.

I have a galaxy s4 with the latest jelly bean 4.3 and the latest version of ifruit is still a bit unresponsive.

Yeah, it's a bit laggy on all of my devices.

Realistically they probably only good on the iPhone. It's called the iFruit app after all.

Hopefully this will be seen by people (Glitchy GTP12).

Does anyone know if it would be possible to complete the main story line using only the default pistol or other pistols you unlock (Except for missions requiring you to use other weapons)? I remember seeing someone say they beat most of GTA IV's story mode using only the regular pistol.

EDIT: This does sound very plausible with the AP Pistol due to its high rate of fire, and usually kills an enemy extremely quickly.

I dont see why not if you play smart with cover etc and not try and kill every enemy. Some missions qould probably take quite a bit longer though.

I just spent the better part of half an hour with a four-star wanted level after I broke into the navy pier. The police bottleneck at the doors, and since the whole thing is undercover, the helicopters can't spot you, shoot you, or deploy forces to your location.

Also took out the Altruists near Mount Chiliad, which I did not know that you could do (I found a letter scrap at the broadcast tower, but it took ages to get in there and I kept getting shot at). Apparently you are supposed to set fire to the compound, but I could not figure out how to do it.

Interested to find out how ypu are supposed to burn down the place.

I have no idea. I got a message saying "Altrusists cleared", but nothing happened. So I Googled it, and read a description of the mission that said the camp will be a smouldering wreck when you try to go back. I just figured I had left early.

You know, I don't see the point in having a Shamal or Luxor if you aren't traveling very far. Yes, GTA V has the largest map in the series, but it still just feels rather small, compared to other games that have enormous maps. Then there's the issue of performance on current generation consoles.

There's only 3 accessible runways in GTA V (Fort Zancudo is not included for obvious reasons). Even then, McKenzie Airfield is very small, and you would die if you tried to land a Titan there. It would be more convenient to just drive a car or fly a helicopter to get across the map, unless you plan on bailing out of your plane, or landing on a beach/highway/open field.

I don't think anyone bothers to land their aircraft. They just jump out when they get to where they need to be.

But when you do that, you could potentially kill a friendly player or alert the police. Not good when you called Lester within the past few minutes to get rid of the cops.

It does seem a bit short-sighted by Rockstar, unless they are planning to expand the game world in DLC. If you look at the nap during the prologue, Ludendorff is huge, but any deviation from the escape route fails the mission. I doubt Rockstar plan on expanding the game world, though. That would require a *lot* of work.

True. Well, people have glitched into North Yankton in multiplayer. It is quite big, but since it was intended for only two missions, it is very unfinished, with flat buildings, low-res fences that you can pass through, and areas where you can just fall through the map.

If Rockstar had planned to include an expanded world through DLC, they would have to place some assets in the game to start with so that there is something for the DLC to go into. Otherwise, they would have to find a way to insert it all into the game in one go, which opens the door to bug glitches.

But I am hoping that they will put more heists into the game before expanding the world. "Blitz Play" is barely a heist at all. I want to plan out the theft of artworks from the Los Santos elite, or race a rival crew to complete a job ripping off millions from a mob bookmaker at the racetrack. Stuff like that.

Well, this is Rockstar, after all. They haven't exactly had a great track record when it came to good decisions.

Personally, I hated Blitz Play. I switch to one character because they are about to die, then I switch to another and get shot in the back. VERY bad cover in that level.

I did not like it - or the Paleto Bay job - because they always play out exactly the same however you play the game. But it is just one giant shoot-out designed to see how long you can withstand an armed assault. And three of the heists were tied directly to the Haines sub-plot, so it did not feel like I was carrying out a heist.

It would not be hard to introduce addituonal heists to the game. You could start out casing the Observatory ahead of an art auction, where you get a choice: rob the Observatory before the auction, or target an individual buyer. If you hit the Observatory, you will not have long to steal the art, but you get to pick what you take. If you go after a buyer, you will have plenty of time, but you will be limited to robbing what they buy. For the set-up, Trevor steals a catering van and Michael robs CNT to set up their cover: Trevor is a famous chef catering for the auction (who, like all great artists, is great because he is dangerously unstable); Michael and Franklin are a camera crew following him around as part of a reality TV show; the gunman and driver pose as the junior chefs. And then the heist plays out like the others.

Blitz Play was boring because it was just an extended shootout in an alley. At least the Paleto Bay Score was a bit of fun with the ridiculous armour and the minigun.

I loved the PBS. The minigun was so much fun to use and the cutscene right before you use it cracked me up.

I just wish you could get that bomb suit at other times in the game. Yes, it is quite game breaking to have that online, but make it so something like a headshot is an instakill and you can't operate vehicles with the armor equipped.

Can't be any worse than tanks, or the Bifta completely breaking the off-road category of racing. Or the Buzzard taking the challenge out of most missions.
