Can you send invite? It won't let me join keep saying it fails.

Edit: Nevermind I just joined on Dano

Someone explain this...someone came in with like a 9 billion dollar bounty, and when I killed him (he let me), guess how much money I got...a whopping $0.

Not a very large group, but that certainly didn't stop us from having some serious fun!

Looks so cool without the back part. Looks like a proper trail-ridden truck!

BTW, I saw a clean Rebel today and I took it to LSC and there wasn't an option to insure it. What's the deal there?

Rockstar removed the clean rebel from online for some reason. They classified it as a mission vehicle. Just look at page 55-56, there was a big discussion about it.

I realised they took it from everyone's garage, but I didn't realise they completely stopped you from making it your personal vehicle. That's just stupid.

its the same thing with the Jeep Grand cherokee rip off. you can customize it, but you cant put a tracker or insurance on it.

It is so fun they did put the Seminole in the forbidden fruits list and yet I have never read anybody complaining about it. Poor Seminole, child of a lesser Houser god.

You gave up. Says the person who ranted about it for about an hour last night.
Yep I'm done. I give up. I've had absolutely no support from anyone, so what's the point of making a good argument with sufficient evidence when nobody will listen?
Edit: And apparently 15 days ago, Razor_S_Edge, a Rockstar employee, wrote this regarding the Rat-Loader making a possible return:
As far as the Rat Loader is concerned Brian has escalated the concerns, comments and complaints from the community to the developers and those in charge of content. Brian has stated as soon as he knows something more concrete as far as the return of the Rat Loader is concerned, he will let the community know.

I really want to do some wheeling. See what Saturday night brings, if not I'll be around Sunday for a bit. Maybe do a follow along and just forge our way.

To be honest, you should be able to store any land vehicle that fits in the garage (minus maybe the tank), and insure them. Why can't someone have a police car in their garage if they want one? Because it's 'illegal'? In a game where you can parachute into a military base, steal a fighter jet, and use it to wreak havoc on civilians, gangs and police, you can't use a police car as your personal vehicle?

Anyway, more on-topic, anyone used the Bobcat XL off-road? I've got one in my garage (although it has the stupid bed cover on. :grumpy:) and am wondering whether to keep it for off-road.

I completely agree. To me, this game seems like an easy buck for Rockstar. Having the name Grand Theft Auto in the title equals a load of sales. Rockstar seem to have forgotten what Grand Theft Auto actually means.
I love how Franklin's Buffalo is still around despite not being normally obtainable online, but vehicles such as the Rat Loader and Clean Rebel have been booted from garages. And what's the deal with the Canis Seminole? Did they run out of ideas as to what vehicle to delete next and ended up doing a hat-drawing to decide what vehicle to remove? That thing was pretty cool.

This game I'm linking has me excited!!!

Check out "Spintires"

I installed this ages ago. Its a great tech demo, but dont get your hopes up about a proper game being released. Oh, and unless you have a beastly gaming PC, I wouldn't bother with it, you'd be lucky to get 15 fps :')

I still have the Buffalo II in my garage with 100% armour. I expect it to disappear with every new patch released, but it never does. I don't see many of them driving around, apart from the people who I duplicated mine from.

On another note I saw a few people messing around in the mud near Fort Zancudo who I thought might have been off-roading. Only when I got there did I realise they were level 400+ and not off-roading. That was a mistake.

I think the Bobcat XL is RWD and useless on off road.

And I agree we should be able to store anything.. really anything on wheels, that exists in the game. Even the tow truck, and R* should be responsible of modifying it if it creates problems in the game. There is a lot of potential fun that has been just erased from the game, I really don't get it. While the tank, it's just a pain in the ass, made for stupid kids.

The police vehicles, it would be logic to be able to store them, and then get chased by the cops that occasionally cross you.

Spin tires looks awesome!

They are RWD, also I am in a crew only lobby on xbox right now (not anymore) if anyone wants to mess around alittle bit. :)

The Bobcat XL is just RWD, and the fact that it has so much power and such poor grip make the Crown Vic. a better off-roader.

It's a little late for me right now ~ 3am GMT. I'll be around tomorrow for some off-roading, I also spoke to an Xbox crew member a few days ago who is in a few crews and goes off-roading pretty much everyday.

If you are wanting a non-raised pick-up for Off-roading I can suggest the Bison and Sadler, both very capable off-roaders.

It does seem slow to develop. FWIW PC part is covered. ;)

10-12" of Snow headed this way. I can't wait to go out and play in it!!!

Really gotta get my 3" lift installed. Need to order adjustable front bar and sway bar links. Got the taller springs and longer Bilsteins. Then plan on stepping up my tires again. Maybe go to a down to 16" rim with lil more outside offset. Wanna do more mud and snow tire vs the All Terrains. These Nitto A/T's have shown themselves really well in snow though. However I know they are not on par with a proper M/S tire. This Jeep has the locking diffs on both ends so it truly capable of some good wheeling.
