I also use GTP Lite - even though I'm on DSL at home and T1 at work, it still helps with the load times.

I much prefer GTP Lite. I'm on a fast cable modem and my load times aren't THAT much faster but the overall UI is much easier to deal with.

Please...when GTP7's UI is designed do not use the new vBulletin Ui with the AVs and such info on top of the post. I've seen some other message boards that have recently upgraded and they are using this (as opposed to the way it is here, AV to the left with info - nicely allowing for visual post scanning) and it is hard to read and or see what is going on.

Also I'd love more skin options. One even lighter than the current GTP lite skin. I am a professional graphic designer and while red usually is a nono for a major color in UI design the way it is used here is fine. Know that some people will see whatever is read on this site as black or a shade of grey. It's fine, you don't use red as a major link color so no worries.

i tired posting this earlier.....i guess it didnt work. i hope it works here now. for some odd reason, gtp has been giving me tons of trouble recently (which preceeded the "major database error" message while the site was down, and continues even after it.) thank god that it is somewhat better now. anyway...

What Jordan uses here is called the Legacy posbit. It is an option in the Vbulletin Admin CP Panel. I am sure Jordan will stick with how it is now being if he wanted to he could have it the other way right now.

Yeah, I just can't figure out what's going on with this machine - its crashing every twelve hours or so. I'm looking for an expert to take care of this as we speek.

And don't worry about the posts - I dispise the horizontal format just as much as much (maybe more) than the rest of you.
