Note: The non paint-able cars that come in different liveries (list) are especially appreciated as we can distribute them prior to any online event and get a varied looking field. We are still looking for the Silver Clio Renault Sport Trophy Race Car '00 for example.

Your speeds blow away my connection!!!

If your router cooperates you will be in great shape.
 
I have Comcast, but I only have their Cable Modem. I have my own router. There is a big difference in those device roles.

The modem won't do any blocking or monitoring of ports, it just provides a connection to a single device. In my case, that device is my router. The router is in control of the firewall, what information gets through and what connections are allowed, NAT, etc. and all my internet connected devices sit behind that including my PS3. The router is where you have to look for problems with GT5 usually.

Lucas has an integrated modem/router from Comcast and had problems when we first started 3d3. He upgraded to a new model and then his issues were resolved. I prefer to keep the modem and router roles on separate devices so I can decide exactly what model and features are in the router. Plus I can bipass the router, connect directly to the modem and get NAT 1 on my PS3 if I really need to.

My guess is you won't have any problems anyway, but there is only one way to find out. Try it!!

I've made a list of cars I think you need in there. I've only put one untradeable in the list, but it and the bias involved should be obvious.

I'll work towards getting the most important/fun/iconic of these sent over obviously a fairly long time frame; I won't be able to do it continously.

👍 that's a lot of cars! Will be a project. I buy any in the OCD every two weeks. I also check UCD, but unless I run b-spec for credits the day doesn't change so the cars don't either. I'm sure during the process some of them will show up there too.

Ayup, patience a specialty. Looking at my ticket list, I forgot a few obvious ones, too; I'll update along the way. First one has been sent!

I also figured out a while back that if you quit the game from the Remote Racing interface, it doesn't advance the day counter, which means I can actually do some reciprocating for those folks who run my drivers for no reason ;) Or, y'know, when it can actually help someone.

In the meanwhile my bob's (and I believe GTP_Straffestef aswell) are also racing the 3D3 bobs, so you have loads of credits to buy cars ;)

Cool! I've amended and updated my list for my own sends, and will check the main one over time.

That Blitz, as I just mentioned elsewhere, was on the list because it practically demands silly photos at night. Can you imagine a race shot at SSR5, for example?
 
Got the cool cars you sent too Ren and logged in the doc.

They are coming in fast and furious now with 3-4 guys sending in daily. 👍
 
I just sent the white Mugen, Tim. Only the silver and the yellow are now missing. I do have the silver, but it has 2000 km, while the other ones had less than a thousand. Probably doesn't make much of a difference. I could restore it, I guess, but then it would need to be broken in to match the others.

Can anyone else provide the yellow one?

Cool. Yah restore it and I can have a bob drive for 200 mi.
 
I finally figured out why my mic wasn't fully working online in GT5.

I had the usb receiver in the wrong usb port on my PS3. Now I should be able to use my mic without having to worry about cutting out while talking, and that was why I wasn't talking at all online before.

Did not know there was a fixed usb port for this.... Last weekend I had a race with my friend GTP_Straffestef, he could hear me fine, but he was sounding like 'the Smurfs'. :)

Can you tell me in wich port it should be ?

I have a yellow one on my main account. I need to put about 80 miles on it to fully break it in. I'll send it to 3D3Racing later tonight.
 
My issue was I had my usb receiver in a usb port that only does charging, but as I have the fat PS3, all I had to do was move it from the 4th usb slot to the 2nd and the issue was fixed.

Voice changer is a bit of a nuisance, but can be used for laughs sometimes.

PS> If you want to grind any cash the latest Lambo seasonal is pretty good. I have a Gallardo on share setup to 468 PP and it earns you $2.1M in ~8 minutes in the Toscana Race. Crank up the PL to about 75% to learn the track and then lower it all the way back to 55.5% to break $2M / 8 minutes. Not bad. With a perfect race you can probably win with closer to 460 PP. At 468 you have to be pretty clean, but you can afford to miss a few apexes. The Toscana race is funny in that the AI wipe out so much causing big 4 car AI wrecks at times.

NOTE: I'm going to be unable to manage these regularly over the six weeks or so. You can still send cars, but they won't be accepted or logged into the database so frequently. We obviously want to avoid having people send cars that have already been sent so I've developed a form that will automatically feed into the database in real time.

When you send a car if you would kindly fill out the following form: 3D3 Racing Garage - Car Gift Entry

The car will immediately show up in the database so other drivers can see what has already been contributed. I will log in occasionally and accept the gifts and verify the information.

I sent the 3 missing Subaru Impreza Super Touring Cars yesterday and today.

I will be sending the Toyota Altezza Touring Cars next. I have three of them, I am missing the fourth one, the one with the red details (#40). If someone else could provide it, we'd have the complete collection.

Hi, Im going in to the 3D3 room for a bit of a free run and mess around, cant be botherd trying to find a online room, if anyone wants to join for some little races or just a mess around feel free to join.

Im just waiting for the update so probably be about 10 min.
