Good, effective, and cheap. I purchased about 5 of these. Have a few extra just in case. BUT, in the 8 months of use for my PC and blu-ray to my TV, NO issues. Only gripe is the fact that the heads are thicker. It makes it harder to do side by side cables. You just need to cut off those husks to make it easier.
Also, funny note is the company is named Fanatic. Close ey?
I got the SONY cable.. I don't know the difference between cables.. but it seems pretty awesome ? It says recommended for PS3 (Obviously- Sony>PS3, No question) thanks for the help and facts about HDMIs it's deffinatly better to play in HD!

I don't know about Canada but the cable you mentioned is about 40€ in France - generic cables are around 5€, yet are the very same and work equally well.

Here it was $30 ($29.99).. There were 3 different types where I was, One was $10 Cheaper, but the box looked cheaper made, so I didn't want to risk getting a second rate wire with it, and the other was to short.. The one I got is JUST long enough
