53 here. Bought a PS3 and DFGT just to play GT5. Been a car nut all my life since my dad carried me as a baby to the weekly sprint car races at Williams Grove speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA.
I think it's pretty cool seeing people in the 46 and older category play videogames, I just hope that I don't lose any interest in videogames once I reach that age group because it currently helps me save a lot of money.
41 and counting! Been doing GT since the first one! This one is getting the best of me in some of the FF challenges. Must be my old age! Reaction time just not the same as it once was! I did still manage gold on the Focus race and Fiat 500 event, it just took me longer and some help tuning FF cars from fellow members!
31 been playing gt since the first one. i gave my ps2 to my son and he played gt4 for awhile and kinda ruined it so i had to go to gamestop buy a 2nd copy for me to play on the ps3 until gt5 came out.
28 here. I think there are a lot of us in my age range. We grew up with games and now we make enough money to play all the things we want to. CoD makes it a bit more acceptable to talk about gaming IRL, but GT5 is pretty open too. Not like some of the RPG's that I play.
I also play online with a buddy who is 46 and his older brother who is 48. They are the only people I race with online and I don't see them throwing in the towel any time soon.
32, been playing since the GT1 days. In fact I still remember buying GT1 at a store that no longer exists. My very first racing game was played on an Atari 2600!
I turn 50 this Saturday and I absolutely refuse to grow up. I've had a sports car since I was 19 and I plan on driving one until they take my license away or i can't buy gasoline anymore...drive it like you stole it! (in the game that is)
20 here. haha pole position, I've played that on my ps2, classic arcade game, only racing game i had before gt5 released. Old timers still like speed lol, watch out now, need to keep an eye on that blood pressure when going 210 mph.
