Keep dreaming because it will never happen, Formula Drift has a partnership with NFS. Plus Formula Drift & GT5 really don't mix.

He was laid off by EA... That's why Aasbo is competting in FD... Mike runs in the Kiwi D1 series with his 5th gen livery, 4-rotor RX7 FD.

How can it drift? The quartepanels go OVER the front wheels, the ones that do the steering!

Also, why does it have no quarterpanels but doors, then quarterpanels and no doors? BTW, that was a serious question.

+1 to the DW cars.

Also, I'd love to see Nakamura's personal S13, and maybe one of the team orange cars.

Because it's not finished yet. And if you have enough space between the wheel arch and the wheel, then your still able to turn properly.

I know this is about ONE drifting car. These are not ONE. I´d love to see classic Brazilian cars in the game, mostly all RWD, like Dodge Polara, Chevette, Opala, Maverick, Puma GT and GTB, and.... the Santa Matilde!

Probably Ueno's old Soarer. That thing was so sexy.

I would choose a Formula Drift car but 90% of them have a 4-speed and a V8. I might as well just set it to auto-pilot if I chose one of them.

And many many more from D1GP.

**** Forumla D with their contracts in EA etc, make drift cars from where drifting came from :)

Guys, please. Face the fact that nobody would like to have an army of same cars using exactly the same visual settings (except the wheels). So modded cars for drifting doesn´t works in GT5, because everyone wants to customize with his own preferences.

I don´t have numbers to prove, but for every D1 car i see at the online lobies, i see also 200 (if not more) normal cars with decent visual settings and as good (if not better) in performance. This thread is a lot more usefull if we point to decent RWD cars witch are not in the game so far.

Otherwise, dream or speculate for branded teams from D1GP (or Formula Drift, or whatever) is counterproductive, cose besides of they not be able to customize, would envolve a lot of branding negotiations (the car, the teams and the sponsors too).

^^^ I was thinking the same thing, because we have a few D1 cars in the game but you hardly ever see anyone using them

I just want more body kits, rims and a premium AE-86 with full custom options like rims color everything..

Saturn Sky/Opel GT hardtop.

I know people would complain, but I'd love to drift the TVR Sagaris.

The thread title is asking for people opinions on what drift car they want in the game, not what car will improve the game that isn't already in. If someone wants a car that is already in the game then so what? its their opinion. i think we all know that we will not get any of the cars that anyone posts in this thread but its nice to dream :)

You are right about the title, but if you read the entire first post, you will see the OP mentioning an E30 and E36. So this thread is not only about D1GP or Formula Drift modded cars.

About your sentence: "If someone wants a car that is already in the game then so what?", probably you are mentioning these cars witch are not customizable. And i said my point of view why these cars are counter-productive.

Changing subject, now EA doesn´t holds exclusivity for Porsches anymore. So we can dream again about it, and this is the only Porsche i love with all my heart.
