I know that in Washington if you are under 21 you can have sex with someone that is under 18 as long as they aren't more than 4 years younger. So if you are 19 you can have sex with a 15 year old as long as it is consensual.

The bottom line is that Britney entertained/entertains a lot of people, and so she justifiable makes a lot of money - even if she's not the best person.
