:)
Hello as expected the video was made by Nanaki! I do not have lied!

Or in my case, it's me who made the best time of the weekend of the 24h of Le Mans with the 908 at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
My best time is 3.13.907 which will remain the final lap of the weekend general. (You can do better)
It's me who has won the trip to Alsace Rally with Sebastien Loeb

(I also finished first on the competition TOTAL booth, and I got a PSP with Gran Turismo and NFS Undercover)

👍

Congratulations on your victories! :)

The sparks still look crap in the new videos, WTF were they thinking?:irked: For me this will detract heavily from the simulation aspect of the gameplay.:indiff:

Maybe its just me, but didn't someone say there is gonna be a new demo in the PSN store? If this is true, perhaps it'll show up tuesday? Just curious as to if its true or not, it isn't a big issue to me.

I've heard that too, but I was afraid to comment on it. :nervous:

Maybe it's the final and official demo, created to promote the final product? I'm really looking forward to it.

EDIT: I remember now, and it was just a rumor. Someone said, that a Sony spokesperson said and then this doesn't really have so much value, but whatever the are the sources, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

This is a great example of nitpicking. :sly:

I would say so myself. I don't like the spark but it does happen in real life and if you watch the GT5RS video at around 3:00 when you can see sparks flying from the bumper-cam view and it's actually pretty good. I would say it's in the chase view that the spark becomes distracting and fake-looking but no one should use the chase-cam anyway :)

Now all they need is the R15+ and it will be incredible. There was a PlayStation logo on the Audis, that mean something?

Really? Any pics to show it?

Anyone noticed anything wrong with the cockpit? Seems flawless to me... But the video has a really bad quality so it's hard to see any details.

Well, that pretty much says it. Sparks from scraping walls are realistic, no problem there, but they could make them a bit more explosive.

Agree. But much of the explosive effect comes from the smoke from the exposed tire. Wouldn't look exactly like that in a normal car.

Exactly(glad someone used the link). The sparks look accurate but the only thing missing is the explosion.

F1 cars probably use magnesium compound in the wheel which creates the sparks, road cars not so much? Oh - this is nit-picky and possibly inaccurate. Roll on e3 blowout and summer release!

What seems to be the biggest improvement to me is actually the sense of speed. One of my pet peeves is when games cheap out and use motion blur to emulate a feeling of going fast. In the new GT5 videos, the Peugeot looks to be at warp speed, without any stupud blurring.

Carbon fibre and kevlar everywhere. Magnesium is flammable, I think, so they don't use that on any race cars at all anymore. They learned from Le Mans 1955.

Where did you see a Playstation logo on the Audi R15?

EDIT: Anyway, I'd also like to mention that the smoke and dirt effects were greatly improved since the Nurburgring.

There was one on the side. I remember seing it while it was in the pits. Not much Le Mans pics online yet, maybe by tomorrow.
