I've just practiced with the Starlet I'm using tonight. Looks like a tough one as I hit the walls alot.

I was also thinking about the final race. Which track would you like to race on?

Congrats WiiFreak on your win! At the beginning I thought Chad was going to take it but I saw the standings switching back and forth so there must've been a good race going on up there.

If I could learn to stop hitting things I might actually be competitive at one of these events! I could run mid- to high-1:11s consistently with a best lap of 1:10.700. What kind of laps were you guys turning?

before hitting the wall 1:11, after i hitting the wall 1:12 - 1:14. With a few out of control 1:17s

And yeah me and Chad had a great back and forth race going From my point of view he was faster on the straights and corner exits, but I was faster through the corners generally. It was very close until he took damage by accidentally smacking into the wall which allowed me to pull away.

Also I was running 1:11's and so was Chad until he crashed. I dipped into the 1:10's a few times, my best being a 1:10.5 which I only made due to the extra speed I got from drafting off of Chad's car.

Also, instead of a track vote for race 6, we have a vote for custom tracks. Each driver enters just one track they made and they vote for the best. You cannot vote for your own track, however. All track templates are permitted, and the track must exceed 3.50 miles. Like that idea?

That sounds like an awesome idea. I was wondering how that would work for the next Championship? (if there is one..) It would give the track creator an advantage in practice on the track, unless one was randomly created just before the race.

I went and tried it - yes. And you get a trophy for sharing it too So people can practice anytime on it maybe? Someone test see if you can use it?

I shared "5 miles of fun" if it works that's my entry.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the race this week as my birthday is Wednesday and my friends are taking me out to get plastered. Kinda sucks because I wanted to make sure I could clinch 3rd place in the standings.

Agreed. Two fifties is plenty.

Thing is, a Citroen GT is the prize, yet March 3rd is the race! Two 50 laps would be good.

Also, the final round MIGHT be a custom track. It's up to you. You have until Wednesday for an entry.

No a race can still go on as planned this week I just won't be able to make it. Not fair to delay a race just because of one person. Two races on the same night for points is what I don't agree with.

Now that I think of it, there should be no limit to the track length. I just tried Brett's "Camber" track and that was real fun. I'll give everybody until Monday for a custom track, and next Tuesday is voting day.
