Here's a screenie of my new destkop. Complete with Tony Hawk in the background, and Mozilla ( I love it!) and Winamp, and some friends IMs in the forground.
I burned all of pictures and stuff onto a data cd. And for my 1.5 gigs of music I transferred with a USB memory stick that holds 125 MB to my brothers computer and then reput it all back on. Just make sure you have your drivers and stuff unless you've done this before and know what you're doing. This was my first reformat and I searched for a good 4 hours for drivers because I didn't think about them.
I've kept update driver installers and other important data on my 120gb external hd and I have other stuff on my 40gb external hd so I'm pretty much covered for that stuff. I'm mostly worried about stuff like cookies that might be important or AOL emails (since it's so damn hard to keep track of it). I just hate losing things, long story short had a wake up call after I lost important stuff because I didn't back up... back up... back up, so I try to be as safe as possible.
Save your Winamp skins, your favorites, and your Game Saves if you play computer games. I lost all of my favorite Winamp skins and I'm too lazy to go search through 20,000 of them again.

Methinks there's some confusion... I was running the Mac OS X version of that theme, but on the bottom of that page I linked to, there's a Windows port for everyone else to use. Yay?
