I don't really care for how the clock is displayed. All I care is that it actually displays the date when I hover over it and it has a popup calendar. And to boot, it only uses about 500kb of memory. 👍

I'm sure you could throw together a Samurize script that'll display the time. You can use it to display other stuff like CPU usage, HDD space used/dree, current Winamp (or Foobar & Itunes) song... even the weather forecast for you're area.

Check out deviantart and the screenshots section on samurize. You should be able to find one that suits your tastes, and if not, you can mod one till it does.

Clean. Very desireable desktop Slick.

Now to make it more worthy of a gold star, you should change out the stock icons for more desireable ones. Like right click the desktop, go to Properties, then go to Desktop, then Customize Desktop in the bottom left, and swap those puppies out for some new ones.
