Merry Christmas to ya'll! (Can't believe there's no thread for it yet apparently). I hope you have a wonderful time! :)
You beat me to it!
I was going to go with a Show Off Your Presents thread as in previous years.

Merry Christmas, GTP. May your beers be cold and your meat warm.

Top tip: avoid Monopoly if you value your family and friends.

Lmao true. Or FIFA. Or any other competitive game for that matter! :p

I'm a little late, but Merry Christmas! :)

Is it okay if we post what we got for Christmas here?
Well late now!

But I acquired some classic reebok shoes, a handful of books on my read list, and the will to quit tobacco*.

I also ended up with a good amount of cheese. That is a gift I always appreciate.

*No Toby since 25th and not in hell surprisingly.

Meant to post this a lot sooner, but here are some of the things I got for Christmas:

Forza Horizon 4 and Wreckfest.
Been meaning to get FH4 for a while now, about as long as I've had my Series X and it was actually the game that made me want the console in the first place, but my dental bills ultimately got in the way of that and it's not until now I finally have it. Wreckfest is one I originally intended to get on PS4 back in at least 2020 or so, but to put a long story short, I'm starting to migrate to Xbox and get games on it instead.

Played FH4 some when I got it and it seems interesting so far. However, the moment I picked up Wreckfest, I could not put it down! I've sunk many hours into that game already and apart from checking to make sure my dad hadn't tampered with my save, I haven't really touched FH4 much since. I'll probably play Wreckfest to completion before I play anything else since I love that game so much.

400 Game 3.0" TFT 8 BIT Classic. My sister gave me this and I didn't expect this at all, but I was pleasantly surprised by it! Now if I ever get bored with my GBA, I guess I have this to play around with! :)

Nerf Elite 2.0 Motoblitz. Was intrigued by this one the first time I heard it had an air tank since Nerf has moved away from them for years now. I usually wouldn't bother with anything Nerf has released in the Elite 2.0 line since they have a history filled with questionable design choices in this line, but this blaster thankfully doesn't have them and is quite exceptional! :)

And that's about all I have to share here! :)

Getting older means you get some socks and new pants etc. however this year the wife came up trumps.

Got a new Seahawks Beanie, and some new shoes.

Best of all is a signed copy this Architecture in Anime book.

It’s fantastic and if you’re into Anime in any way, it’s worth a look.

Merry Christmas GTP’ers.

Have a great few days and enjoy your time this holiday whatever you’re doing.

Loads of love our home to yours.

Merry Christmas to all.

Have a great holiday and new year.

Much love from Yorkshire.

Happy Holidays to all. Especially anyone working over the period (retail, medical, transport, etc) - I've done it, it's horrible but the extra money's nice. Here's to a good 2025.

I know I’m a little late to reply here, but I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a happy new year! :) I know I did.

Here's what I got for Christmas:

Shania Twain's Come On Over Box Set. Been wanting this ever since it came out, but the price was too much for me for a long time, but now it's finally mine!

Pam Tillis Above And Beyond The Doll Of Cutey. Being a huge fan of Pam Tillis, I have taken a deeper dive into her music in recent years and eventually found my way to her first album. While it's a pop album and one I don't typically expect from her, upon listening to "Killer Comfort" in 2024, it became an instant favorite of mine that I listened to countless times afterward. That alone was enough to make me want the entire album, the only problem was, while finding it on vinyl was pretty easy, the CD release was hard to track down and that was what I really wanted. Fortunately, one came in stock recently and that was how I got it for Christmas. Having listened to it already, it is one of, if not the best thing I got for Christmas!

X-Shot Insanity Mad Mega Barrel. Being in the Nerf hobby, I had wanted one of these for a while since it held a lot of darts and could be combined with several other blasters, so that was why I chose this one.
IMG_2745.jpeg

X-Shot Insanity Ragefire. I'll admit, this was a last-minute Christmas gift that came a few days after Christmas, but it was still something that was intended for it. It's a part of the same series of blasters as the one above and one I have always wanted, but the cost was too much for me for a while and I had other blasters I wanted more. Fortunately, it's finally mine with it on hand, I now have enough to complete the original set!

X-Shot Insanity Berzerko. Being in the Nerf hobby, I had wanted one of these for a while since it held a lot of darts and could be combined with several other blasters, so that was why I chose this one.

Just got this yesterday for my grandson he loves it. I think the only one he needs now is the one that goes on the lefthand side. He's 10 and would your Mustang signs, I almost cried last year when I bought him a Mustang book for Christmas I'm a Camaro person!

Which one?

I believe that's the Berzerko, assuming we're talking about the left side when standing behind the Ragefire.

I actually bought that one at Walmart the day I got the Ragefire just so I could complete the original set. They did release another blaster in the series just recently. Speaking of Berzerko, I accidently labeled one in post as that, the one with the 72 darts is actually the Mad Mega Barrel.

Hope he's still enjoying it. Those signs actually belong to my brother. He hung them there a long time ago and they've stayed there despite him moving out in recent years. My father thinks I need to take them down, but I think they're fine where they are.

Hope ya'll had a merry Christmas! :)

Some things I got from it:
Hot Wheels Mazda Autozam. My brother got this for me because I had said I had I wanted one before since his rolled so well, but I could never find one. Glad I have one now!

Cat Painting. I forget who made it for me, but I like it!

Advance GTA. Now this is big. I had played the NTSC version for years, and while I liked it, that stupid password system was always a huge hindrance for me. Although my flash cartridge has a save state option, all I'd have to do is save at the wrong point, and I'd lose everything, which was not a comfortable feeling for me. The Japanese version of the game, though, which is what this is, has a proper save option instead of that stupid password system, which is the way it should've been all along. When my brother asked what I wanted, and I saw this within his budget, I was quite eager to choose it, and I am so glad I did. Not only is it a better version of the game, but it's also my non-American GBA game I own! :D

Dart Zone Pro Stryker 2.0. Being really heavy into the competitive Nerfing scene, I love the Pro blasters above all else, and this is one I have wanted ever since it came out, but it being a Target product has been an issue for me since we don't live near one, and my mom rarely orders from its website. Fortunately, since she had to recently, and I saw this on sale, so I chose it, and I am super thankful for it! The fact that it offers high performance and has a drum that can be easily rear-loaded on the fly is a major plus and one I know I will have a use for.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Now this might be the biggest one of them all, and one that's been a long time coming too! I had wanted this game since before its release, but I wanted to play through the originals first before I got it. This, however, proved to be WAY harder than I ever imagined, simply because for a long time, I never could seem to be in the right mood for it. It doesn't help that my interest in gaming went through a major decline around the time of its release. Which was a feeling that lasted for years, one I talked about here, and ironically, I could argue that this game was the catalyst behind it. Fortunately, I eventually played through the entire trilogy last year and even did so again earlier this year, and had some fun with it.

Now I finally have the remake and even better, I got the reprint that includes everything on disc without the need to download anything extra. Although I initially wanted it for the PS4, I got the Xbox version because my PS4 is low on space and since my Series X is more powerful, I felt I'd get a better experience with it, especially since I enjoy it more. Been playing through it lately, and although it's taking some getting used to, I am enjoying it so far, and I am almost done with the first game. Glad to finally have it, even if I am WAY late to the party!
