Hope ya'll had a merry Christmas!
Some things I got from it:
Hot Wheels Mazda Autozam. My brother got this for me because I had said I had I wanted one before since his rolled so well, but I could never find one. Glad I have one now!
Cat Painting. I forget who made it for me, but I like it!
Advance GTA.
Now this is big. I had played the NTSC version for years, and while I liked it, that stupid password system was always a huge hindrance for me. Although my flash cartridge has a save state option, all I'd have to do is save at the wrong point, and I'd lose
everything, which was not a comfortable feeling for me. The Japanese version of the game, though, which is what this is, has a proper save option instead of that stupid password system, which is the way it should've been all along. When my brother asked what I wanted, and I saw this within his budget, I was quite eager to choose it, and I am so glad I did. Not only is it a better version of the game, but it's also my non-American GBA game I own!
Dart Zone Pro Stryker 2.0. Being really heavy into the competitive Nerfing scene, I love the Pro blasters above all else, and this is one I have wanted ever since it came out, but it being a Target product has been an issue for me since we don't live near one, and my mom rarely orders from its website. Fortunately, since she had to recently, and I saw this on sale, so I chose it, and I am super thankful for it! The fact that it offers high performance and has a drum that can be easily rear-loaded on the fly is a major plus and one I know I will have a use for.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Now this might be the biggest one of them all, and one that's been a long time coming too! I had wanted this game since before its release, but I wanted to play through the originals first before I got it. This, however, proved to be WAY harder than I ever imagined, simply because for a long time, I never could seem to be in the right mood for it. It doesn't help that my interest in gaming went through a major decline around the time of its release. Which was a feeling that lasted for years, one I talked about
here, and ironically, I could argue that this game was the catalyst behind it. Fortunately, I eventually played through the entire trilogy last year and even did so again earlier this year, and had some fun with it.
Now I finally have the remake and even better, I got the reprint that includes everything on disc without the need to download anything extra. Although I initially wanted it for the PS4, I got the Xbox version because my PS4 is low on space and since my Series X is more powerful, I felt I'd get a better experience with it, especially since I enjoy it more. Been playing through it lately, and although it's taking some getting used to, I am enjoying it so far, and I am almost done with the first game. Glad to finally have it, even if I am WAY late to the party!
