Guys, I was just posting to another thread reminiscing about the Australian Grand Prix's I'd been to at Adelaide and Melbourne.

I haven't been to a GP since I moved to Sydney in '98 and suddenly realised I miss it.

I have treasured memories from those trips and thought I'd share them with the group:

- The genius of Senna in 1993 - set pole and won in a canter in an inferior car, in sadly what turned out to be his last win
- Alain Prost's last GP in '93
- The crowing of Michael Schumacher as 1994 champion, and Mansell's last win (we saw Michael's big crash in qualifying)
- The last Adelaide GP in 1995 - it was a great villagey event and I really miss it
- Jacques Villeneuve's debut in '96
- Martin Brundle's big crash in '96
- Hakkinen's first GP after his huge crash in Adelaide when his eyes weren't pointing straight

Has anyone else seen any significant moments in motorsport live?

The utter thrashing Senna gave the field in 93 at Donington.

Senna and Mansell banging wheels at full speed on a long straight (track?), neither wanting give an inch.

Mansell trying his heart out to pass Senna at Monaco when his Williams was far better than Senna's McLaren.

Jacques Villeneuve's daring pass on Michael Schumacher to win the WDC.

Just a few I can remember off the top of my head.
