Proposition A: PD will patch this glitch as soon as they can
Proposition B: PD won't be able to patch it any time soon because of the tsunami
If you hold that propositions A and B are true then you must also hold to the conclusion that exploiting the glitch is exploiting the tsunami.
p.s. tsunami is the new hitler
I don't think this glitch will affect online public lobbies. In fact this one is far more interesting (and rewarding) than the SSR7 one. It needs team work, someone willing to help out with no personal gain, and some skill to do it.
So, it will be mostly made in private lounges, between friends.

How is the treatment going?
I don't think they will bother trying to change their disaster recovery plan to apply another band-aid fix. The last patch was just that, a one corner - one map, specific band-aid. Until they produce an actual patch against the method it will just be a back and forth cat and mouse game they don't want to play.
Where in his post did he say he wanted that? Making you do things over and over to get cr and xp is not the sollution to an easy game. People would not be looking for such exploits if the game wasnt' so flawed.
PD could've done alot of things to make grinding for credits more fun.
* Beat certain laptime for all tracks to get some cr and xp
* Corner mastering (as seen in shift)
* Better use of pp system in a-spec. Set max pp for all races and give the normal (as they are now) amount for people who can't do it without maxed out cars. Give extra credits for every pp you are under max.
* Better price cars in a-spec. Maybe make something like a prestige mode for gt so we can do all the races again but this time they will be harder and you can't overpower the competition and you will win different and better price cars. This game has sooooo many cars, giving me a 2cv just feels like an insult.
To say that "People would not be looking for such exploits if the game wasnt' so flawed. " is ignorant. If PD made a perfect game (which isn't possible, you can't make everyone happy all the time, someone will complain about something, too easy, too hard, etc.) people would still find and exploit glitches.
I couldn't agree with you more that PD could have made grinding for credits more fun, but turning circles under a track is fun? My point is, yes, you are welcome to play the game how you want. If your idea of fun is turning circles under a track so you can have money to buy 20 X1's so you can use those to turn circles under the track, then more power to you but you are missing out on playing a great game the way it was designed to be played.
Glad to see that you can use any cars for the game. I'm curious, what cars did you use for this glitch?

1. Less events, yes that is a fact, but less does not necessarily equal worse. What I like about the events is that they have a considerably amount of variety in them; it's not just A-Spec racing.tribolikGT5 is definitly the GT with more grinding and less events and that is a fact... no wonder people waist time finding exploits. And if that happens its not because some people have no life - its because the game has wonderfull features and terrible progression... and thats whats pathetic IMO
If it were perfect, then by definition there would be no flaws, and thus, glitches to exploit. To say that "People would not be looking for such exploits if the game wasnt' so flawed. " is ignorant. I wonder why people don't use the rubber band trick. (20 million a day) That way you don't have drive in circles for 30 minutes.
I got no beef with those that want to use this exploit but I wont be doing it it looks way too boring, what I want to know is who the heck finds these kinds of things, I mean this one doesn't look like the type of thing you just stumble accross???
If that´s the case, then it must be the reason why PD chose to fix so quickly.
If glitchers are smart this time, they will stay away from public rooms and thus making the whole issue irrelevant (i wish).
I´m still waiting to have a legitimate race ruined before agreeing that glitching messes up online races.
I believe they can co-exist (at least for two weeks i hope).

I've been wondering when someone was going to bring that up. (The rubberbanding exploit)
It's a much easier way to make loads of money and experience. You don't even have to play the game to do it. Leaving the online servers open for actual racing.
I don't really like either, but if you're going to do one of them, I would suggest using the technique that can't possibly effect anyone else.

spapadillionThat's awesome. Can't wait 'til there's a racing game with nothing but driving 4 second laps under the world's best tracks as I'm sure having to find your way down there is a real pain.
