It´s now already 15th of March (like someone stated earlier) and (dont blame me) it will be May before it´s released.....

Its stupid that people boycott it. I don't get them. They are hoping the games comes out and then after a few delays they say the don't want it anymore. Are you a GT fan or are you not!!! I'm waiting since nov/dec 2003 and I will wait this year aswell if I have too (but I hope not)

I do understand if anyone boycotts the game. I'm not one of them, but as some have said, not everyone have the time to play on spring or fall. If they had realeased it in winter many people would enjoy it more. For some of us there is no studying and even work at this time. But having this baby in your home calling you constantly when you have homework, tests, and attend to classes all afternoon just to go to work at night and then get some sleep if you can resist the temptation of fooling yourself to play half an hour, when in reality you will play till it's time to start all over again the day; having not done your homework and studied for tests you'll get to your class half awake then get to your work like a zombie, just to get to your home and see this baby again and telling yourself... I owe it to my self to play some more after this hard day of work. And when this cycle finally ends youll find yourself very pist off about this game not beeing released during the hollydays.

I really don't know who is to blame, PD is responsible for slaping us with screenshots of a game that would not be realeased two years after. You do this to get the consumer all eager and pumped just before you release the game. But after 2 years all that I now see is like... oh cool, wao . And it is also to blame for more than a year of delaying the game. Please people don't say that you rather have a game bug free. I think that PD should be in shame of having so much time to give us this game free of any bugs and maybe many of the things they said, like online play. And SCEA is to blame for not giving us a concrete release date and not releasing it on the hollydays. If some people want to boycott I think is ok, if some of us don't want to take the abuse, thats their right.

Do you really think a car and game freak that had all the GT series and saw the videos and photos of GT4 here on the site will say: " No I'm not going to buy it because it came a year too late" He must be really stupid.

My only wish is that SCEA would announce a firm release date in March 2005 or March 200-never so I can decide if its worth it for me to dump $300 in a JDM PS2 and JSM GT4 or just wait it out.

True. I would rather have heard and seen nothing about the game. But when they started releasing these mouth-watering images I started getting excited. All for nothing. And the powers that be are still playing commercials for the damn game. The commercials started in October and I just saw one last week during the Colts vs Patriots game! There's something morally wrong with that. They are seriously toying with my emotions (Let me hear an 'amen' if you agree). So I can totally understand why someone would boycott the game, at least for the first couple of months or so after it's released. That would send a clear message to PD and Sony. Then piss them off more by buying the game after it's marked down to 20 bucks.

Plus they've delayed it so long that I realize I have enough video game fun in my house already. I really don't think I need GT4 for quite some time. And now I really don't care when the F it's coming out. I won't be buying it the first day it arrives.

That is what Sony and PD have been doing to us by advertising this game for the past 3 or 4 months. Why reward them with astronomical first week sales?

I know, I'm getting royally sick about not having any information from Sony. I'm beginning to believe that all they really care about is their own country. If it's going to be another two months or so before we get the game they had better be spending this time adding more cars in for the American and European releases. American and European cars!!

Unfortunately, I've already prepaid for my copy. If I'm right, Sony hasn't received the money, it's still at the store, but as soon as the shipment goes through, the store will passes on the money.

It is, it is. think of 500+ cars worth driving, 38 different racing locations and the family races similiar to the event creator of GT2!

there is also another thing ... PD could count as a sale when a copy of game is sold to another store. It's not like all stores get the game directly from Sony. So ...

PD is smart --> They know that how longer they wait with the NA and EURO releases how more people would buy the ASIAN version first and then their own region's version again. So they earn twice. A lot of people already bought the japanese or chinese version so they think: nice lets wait some more, change/add some to the PAL and NTSC versions and they buy that one also. And probably that 210 page booklet will come in english and you have to pay for that aswell.

Is there any video game conventions or events coming up to announce the release date. It just seems like they would leak a little something to hype us up.
I also think they should start hyping the psp and give us a solid date for that.

They say that the PSP will come in march aswell.Together with GT4 Mobile. But I don't believe that it will come that fast
