'There's no place for the state in the bedrooms of the nation.'
-Pierre Elliott Trudeau

The quote is actually originally from Martin O'Malley, Trudeau just popularized it.

I love how they're allowing group sex, after posting a warning about AIDS/HIV is on the rise, and how many people have it but don't know it yet, or don't tell anyone about it, like the case in our court right now about the woman and the 2 soldiers at our one army base. This country takes 2 steps forward and 3 steps back, then turn and go in a completely different direction.

You got it. This country has been having essentially the same problems for the past decade or so, and what do we as Canadians do? We re-elect the same government four times in a row... when they have done little or nothing to solve our many problems. Lets see if we can make it five times in a row in February (We have an election coming up).

But as for the whole thing about Swinger's Clubs, I really couldn't care less. These places exist regardless of what laws say.

I had a friend who attended a Gay version of the swingers club, he described in detail what a slurp ramp was, as well and shrimp'n with a straw....it has honestly scared me for life...

I'm lost.

Why is a cluster**** amongst consenting adults anything to do with the law?

here again people are talking against Canada... DAM I want to move out from here, I'm ashamed... lol
Why? It sounds like it just started to get exciting. :D

I was thinking the same thing. If people want to get together and get it on with 20 people at once then let them. They aren't harming anyone and they aren't violating anyone's rights.

I got junk mail in my letterbox for a swinger's club, it wasn't offensively designed and seemed pretty classy actually (as far as these things go). I can see how religious or older people could get slightly freaked about recieving mail like this though.

Canada is a country that will bring it down to the wire over issues being a public harm or no , for that you've got to rate the clarity of the system.

ahah, no its been a long time now that I want to run away from this country and maybe move to Cali. Ooooooooh good old Cali, where the sun, the cute girls and the badass cars reign the hole thing... Maaaaaan oh maaaaaaan... lol

I don't see why they made it illegal in the first place. If people want to do it willingly, then let them. Why stop it in the first place? Making it illegal won't stop them anyways.

There are many things to gripe about Canada, but this is certainly NOT one of them. Whatever happens between 2... or 50 consenting adults in private shouldn't have anything to do with the law.

Make that sort of thing illegal, and it just goes underground. Then you have no clue whatsoever about how many drugged minors you'll find in there, or even adult girls threatened to be there by pimps.

Leave that up to the Conservatives, thought, and it will go back illegal as quickly as you can spell Religious and moral high grounds dimwits. ( quicker, perhaps...). That or abolishing gay marriage, which they promised to try if they get elected.

No wonder why they haven't taken the lead yet, despite all the screw-ups and gifts from the Liberals... We're going to elect them again only because they're seen as the lesser of two evils. Hey, even Quebec voted conservative when we got pissed at the Liberals, not long ago (Mulroney). Only back then they weren't led by a bunch of farking clueless twits.

^ agreed.

It's sort of the same problem as the Americans had. Many hated Bush, and the republicans' only defense was "well would you rather elect that other moron?"

Harper is too right handed, it wouldn't help the current state of the country. And forget the NDP, that wouldn't ever fly.

Just keep an eye out for the QC privincial elections. You thought the Federal Liberals weren't doing good, check out Jean LeMouton's party...

Then again, lesser of two evils... Our Liberal Sheep or separatists still not giving up their stupid delusional quest. Separatists are very good at sterilizing our democratic process, both at federal and Provincial level, instead of focusing on real issues. The BQ was supposed to be dismantled after the failed referendum (they said that themselves), but I guess there was a snooze button to press somewhere.

I'm fed up to the point I'd be seriously considering moving to B.C. if we could do so (Work and family issues are in the way at the moment).

California=overrated man.

No offense to the residents there, its just not everything everyone hypes it to be.

I'll stick to Texas and Monte Carlo.

Well, Cali always been my dream, so I will stick to it :D
Just come straight to Oregon. Many Californians ends up in Oregon, escaping the traffic and crime anyway. :D

MugenVTEC
I like traffic, I like crime :)
Obviously, you haven't experienced either. I used to live in a bad neighborhood. My little brother almost got kidnapped(he was around 6), I got carjacked in my mom's parked van. :scared: Crime sucks!

I'm a Canadian in California, and you're not missing much.

I wish I were in your place.

Davis is right next to Sacramento.

If you want beaches, I'd suggest the Monterey Bay area. Los Angeles' beaches are mediocre at best compared to Santa Cruz.
