Peruvian food is the best Latin American food, probably the best in this this whole hemisphere, period. And I'm biased towards Argentineans.Photo by my mom, best gift ever to start the 29’s, a Leche de Tigre (Peruvian seafood appetizer)![]()

Which didn't happen. We're expecting an inch of snow.
I know the south isn't the best prepared for snow but it doesn't take anyone one week, never mind two, to take care of one inch of snow. That didn't happen.in another week or two when the weather clears up.
You look fantastic, thank you for sharing this with us, I like it. Take care and hope you have a good weekend. Ready for the holidays? So my workplace just hosted our annual holiday party over the weekend and rents out the 7th floor foyer & ballroom of the Pfister hotel in Milwaukee. I don’t typically dress up too often. I felt I’d like to share.

I don't know how you even survive such conditions.Frozen snow or snot?

When the wind is blowing 28MPH, the windchill is -21F and you're snowblowing the aftereffects of a blizzard, nobody knows.
It's not so bad. Upper Midwesterners get by on pure spite of the weather and saying things like "it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't windy." Also, drinking, I guess. There's a reason Wisconsin is the drunkest state by a wide margin.I don't know how you even survive such conditions.
So you get absolute crap-tons of snow and then it melts? Once ours hits the ground in November, it stays until April.after nearly all of it melted.
That's really nice and wonderful Joey, it's like a winter wonderland. I'm sad we didn't get any snow for Christmas this year. The last time we had a huge snowstorm was on Christmas Day 2010, we got around 5 inches. That event occurred 15 years agoIt's not so bad. Here's me today after snowblowing 9" of snow with 25mph winds, and 0F windchill....it wouldn't be so bad without the wind though. We're supposed to get another 5-7" tonight, 2-4" tomorrow, and another 2-4" tomorrow night. So come Wednesday, we could have 2 feet of snow after nearly all of it melted. I'm glad we had a reset though.

Very nice, so how much snow do you think y'all got? We didn't get any snow on Christmas day or today.
At least enough to warrant me using the snow-thrower to clear off my driveway lolVery nice, so how much snow do you think y'all got? We didn't get any snow on Christmas day or today.![]()
Happy Birthday Chris!A wee birthday treat yesterday - my sister's pal is close friends with the manager of our local Lamborghini dealership, and so we went for a wee tour; they were so lovely, and let us try out the cars, including this absolutely incredible Revuelto - worth at least a half million £££... there was also a brand new Revuelto still under wraps for some lucky customer to pick up.
That's nice man, hope you all had a great time. I'm glad to see you in great shape. Take care, enjoying 2026 so far?A wee birthday treat yesterday - my sister's pal is close friends with the manager of our local Lamborghini dealership, and so we went for a wee tour; they were so lovely, and let us try out the cars, including this absolutely incredible Revuelto - worth at least a half million £££... there was also a brand new Revuelto still under wraps for some lucky customer to pick up.
We were also taken into the service area and shown the brand new Temerario - it was covered in salty deposits from bring driven to the showroom, but was otherwise brand new and was about to be prepped to go out onto the showroom floor. The lady that showed us around was absolutely lovely, and even took us next door to Ferrari where I let it slip that the 296 GTB would be my perfect purchase, hastily adding "after a Lamborghini, of course..., to which she replied, "Nice save!". 😅
It was a really interesting insight into the world of premium car buyers too, and they sent me home with a lovely goody bag including a very posh paperweight and a Lamborghini cap - given that they did all that just for a couple of random people showing up for a visit, it was beyond impressive, and a lot of fun. Now to get saving for that Revuelto...
