I know I need to shave. We're expecting an inch of snow. We watched the weather on our local news station at almost 5:00pm tonight. I'll post another picture after I get my haircut. Which will be in another week or two when the weather clears up. Enjoy your weekend folks!

Which didn't happen.

I know the south isn't the best prepared for snow but it doesn't take anyone one week, never mind two, to take care of one inch of snow. That didn't happen.

Yeah. We were disappointed. We only got some rain, but it was really cold when we went outside to get a package in this afternoon.

My old man sent me some photos I’d never seen before of our trip to Spain when I was about 8 or 9.

I’m pretty sure he’d had a wonderful laugh with his bar acquaintances over my given balloon hat. Explains a lot about why I am the way I am.

I think I even remember having a Bacardi with Coke that night.
My sister kept it sober. She was 5.

So my workplace just hosted our annual holiday party over the weekend and rents out the 7th floor foyer & ballroom of the Pfister hotel in Milwaukee. I don’t typically dress up too often. I felt I’d like to share.

I washed my hair and got a quick shower tonight. My mom is driving us to get my haircut and get my B12 shot this afternoon, so I need to go to bed in a few minutes.

Like I promised, here is my new photo. So glad I went to go get my haircut Friday, I feel so much better. Now I'm ready for Christmas break to actually begin. What are you guys planning to do this year? Also, a famous Youtuber called AdamTheWoo passed away yesterday at the age of 51. What a shame a legend died. He was loved by millions of fans and followers.

I don't know how you even survive such conditions.
It's not so bad. Upper Midwesterners get by on pure spite of the weather and saying things like "it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't windy." Also, drinking, I guess. There's a reason Wisconsin is the drunkest state by a wide margin.

Here's me today after snowblowing 9" of snow with 25mph winds, and 0F windchill....it wouldn't be so bad without the wind though :P. We're supposed to get another 5-7" tonight, 2-4" tomorrow, and another 2-4" tomorrow night. So come Wednesday, we could have 2 feet of snow after nearly all of it melted. I'm glad we had a reset though.

That's really nice and wonderful Joey, it's like a winter wonderland. I'm sad we didn't get any snow for Christmas this year. The last time we had a huge snowstorm was on Christmas Day 2010, we got around 5 inches. That event occurred 15 years ago

A wee birthday treat yesterday - my sister's pal is close friends with the manager of our local Lamborghini dealership, and so we went for a wee tour; they were so lovely, and let us try out the cars, including this absolutely incredible Revuelto - worth at least a half million £££... there was also a brand new Revuelto still under wraps for some lucky customer to pick up.

We were also taken into the service area and shown the brand new Temerario - it was covered in salty deposits from bring driven to the showroom, but was otherwise brand new and was about to be prepped to go out onto the showroom floor. The lady that showed us around was absolutely lovely, and even took us next door to Ferrari where I let it slip that the 296 GTB would be my perfect purchase, hastily adding "after a Lamborghini, of course..., to which she replied, "Nice save!". 😅

It was a really interesting insight into the world of premium car buyers too, and they sent me home with a lovely goody bag including a very posh paperweight and a Lamborghini cap - given that they did all that just for a couple of random people showing up for a visit, it was beyond impressive, and a lot of fun. Now to get saving for that Revuelto...

Happy Birthday Chris!

Looks like it was a great experience and glad to see you are looking so well, considering everything.
