This is the "downtown" district. Nothing much there...City Hall, some old shopping centers that were out-dated 20 years ago are still around. The swap meet is to the left of the picture.

Mostly, it's low-income apartments and tiny homes in this region. A lot of retirees, too.

Royal Palm Boulevard, a picturesque way to drive around town. Note the roystonea regia (Cuban Royal Palm) trees planted in the center for tropical touch. You'll find these trees all over Margate, it makes you feel you're in Vice City.

Ah, it wouldn't be a hometown page without mentioning the biggest tax-payer in town...they just happen to be part of my job. JM Lexus is under construction (destruction?), and now it's the service department's turn. The crane can be seen from quite a distance, and the 3-story pile o' girders is nothing to sneeze at, either.

So even if you never stay long in Margate, be sure to sample our (only) curvy road for road-testing purposes. Banks Road has been a staple of 16-year-olds, Lexus test pilots, and the Florida Highway Patrol for many years now.

A picture of a B-52. I live about 20 miles from the base where they have about 20-30 of these beasts, maybe more. We're one of the only 2 places in the US that have them.

This is a link to a site that shows the differnet locations of missle sites around our area. I couldn't find any pictures of them though.

That's all the pictures I could find because well my town just isn't that cool.

I found these on Google.

Here's a sign. I live in the suburbs of Macungie, called Lower Macungie.

My town hosts a really big classic car show once a year, called the Das Awkscht Fescht. Cars as far away as Michigan come here.

This is my school, about 5 miles away in Emmaus:

Here's a house down the road from me. Basically they all look like this, even mine that's 14 years old. I Mountain bike on the dirt piles in neighborhoods like this where they're building new houses.

This is my house, made as scenery for Manga Cars:

Macungie is also the home of Mack Trucks.

I didn't take that picture you know, as it is winter. But that is what it's like all around here. In the summer I'll take some pictures like that.

Pic of most of my town (13,000+ people) in the snow last year. (biggest snowfall since about 1995 :()

A lake about 20 minutes south of my town (taken on a hill above it) looking South-West.

This is my favourite part of my city. Lang Park (or suncorp stadium for the politically correct)

this is the greatest rectangular stadium in the world, and the other images shown are queensland beating NSW in the state of origin, played at lang park. I cant wait for the footy season to start again

Now I don't know if this stadium counts as a 'rectangular' stadium, but I thinks its better.
72,000 Seats
another 1,500-2,000 in hospitality boxes, and a rectractable roof.
All for 72 million. Bargain. And i've been there about 8 times.
