umm, i live in Batavia IL, right on the border of geneva. my school is in geneva.

FNAL is Fermilab Nat'l accelorator Laboratory, which splits protons and anti protons. they did atom bomb research there in the 40's, but now it's a gov't funded, non military reasearch facility. the rings are two proton accelerators. Dupage airport is a small airport by me.

also, i live near a garbage dump/golf course.

if you want to see ground pictures of Geneva, watch road to perdition and wait for the part where the bad guy (not tom hanks, i dont remember his name) goes into the hotel where he later gets hit by glass in the face. that hotel is in geneva. there are a few outside shots. (btw, they gussied up the town to make it look like the 20s)

Here's an overhead shot of some poopy filled lake we've got here in town. It's the largest man made lake in the state or nation or world or something. So I've heard anyway.

Yeah the town itself is small, but the acerage the ski resort covers (some 5,600 skiable acres serviced by 36+ chair lifts.) is the largest in North America.

Even though this is about 2 and 1/2 hours away from me, It's (I think) the most popular ski resort in New England.
