Oh how I want to be there. But I am not paying for online access when i don't have a handle on the FFB settings. Every place i read i see something different about FFB. I have my own ideas, just not tested enough. PCars is very time consuming.

Who is using a G29 wheel? Are the default FFB and configurations OK? What needs to be changed in general?

These are the settings most of us use. I use the classic settings.

I leave the FFB stock but from what I heard I could maybe go a bit faster switching it for every car......... .....but who's got time for that

These are the settings I'm using with my G29,they work pretty well for me,then each car has individual FB settings you can adjust also,theses are the main ones in the set up menu @Xradkins

The FFB settings in the main menu are something you will have to play around with to suit your feel. I went by this video way back and it served me well for a base line. http://www.isrtv.com/pc-racing/project-cars-force-feedback-tips-and-settings/
My throttle sensitivity is 35 and FFB is 85.
Once these are set you can pretty much leave them alone. It's only when I go to another game that I change just the main FFB.

I then set each cars individual FFB setting in the garage with the info from here http://pcars.oscarolim.pt/cars
It only takes a couple of minutes to do this. Each time I open a new car I do this and before you know it most of them will be set.

Below are the current Active Drivers with provisional entries into the Main Event. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race at Laguna Seca by replying in this topic (no later than 7:00 pm eastern on Wednesday) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I confirm). I will update the list accordingly.

If there are less than 16 drivers confirmed, we will not need KOQ this week and will open the Lobby to all drivers @ 8:30pm Eastern. If there are more than 16 confirmed drivers that week, we will implement the original KOQ process and only the top 10 Confirmed drivers will be locked in and all other drivers will need to go through KOQ as usual.

I didn't get PCars nor Dirt on PC, since I have them on the PS4.
I did get Assetto and Automobilista and went insane with the mods for Assetto.... Let's go driving when I get home on the weekend?

Man I just can't run soft tires. No way I can get them to last half the race. I can barely get medium tires to go that far.

It's crazy that some people can go halfway on soft tires and still have 50% tires left.

Feeling good about my times on mediums though and the car handles great and consistently.

After last nights practice ive decided to put my PITS debut on hold until i am able to control my car better. I was off the track every other corner am unable race near others yet as im struggling to keep it on the track let alone one side of the track to let some beside me safely. I would be a dangerous road hazard at this point so ill go back offline and work on control and come back competent.

I'd say which ever livery has the least racers driving it but wait for @vsfit to respond. He probably has a car with a tune ready to go.
