Will you be buying a digital or hard copy of the game?

Unfortunately not. I emailed the creators of several of the apps but unfortunately there's is no way they can get them to work on any console.

It's a great shame but I hope sms possibly incorporate the motec display I've seen Yorkie065 use in his videos.
Id hope it wouldn't be a big job to incorporate it into the game if third party people can get them coded for pc but I haven't got a clue about coding.

The in car Motec Displays are fully functional on consoles too. Depending on success of the game i can imagine SMS will be implementing something like the GT6 telemetry analyzer too.

I wasn't sure but I thought a video Yorkie did a good while ago shows the Motec display in game and he was running through the different modes. Very Nice!! 👍

i'm currently downloading a 4.387GB file from PSN and it says 3 hours left(!). this is why i'd love to see some LE physical copies in stores. i find it odd that SMS aren't making this happen.

50?! damn! i have Sky broadband unlimited, not fibre though. mostly my general speed on other devices is fine, just my PS4 is terrible.

edit: i just changed back to ethernet and it got worse! 5.4mbps haha how is this even possible?
and sorry if this is off topic

I have made my mind up, i will just buy the hard copy as soon as GAME opens on release day.
Digital would limit me to one account. Just hope i can get the M1 in a DLC at some point.

We have a user from egypt over at WMD. He can't finish the download of his beta build because his internet is so slow, it would take him 3 full days to download. Problem is, every day they don't have power for a few hours!

I'm unsure what to do... Digital LE here is 70EURO... hard normal copy at Thiefstop is 70.98Euro while LE is supposed to be over 80...

Digital is cool but not sure hgow long would take to DL, and can't rent or resell someday... Also it might take more time to DL than to go to shop and pick it up lol :/

Do you happen to have the link for this app? I've tried to google it but nothing. Thanks!

Usually I keep hitting "pause/resume" after turning off my router and turning it back on. Downloaded DC in about 50 minutes this way. And Tomb Raider: DE in 65 minutes.

I have a 2.3gb update downloading now with 12 hours remaining! I've got the fastest internet available where I live (rural New Zealand) with a blistering download speed of 1.1mb/sec on a good day. :(

thanks for making me feel better :D

I will get a network cable by the time Pcars is released. I was on wifi on my console the whole time but I want the best ping and speed settings to play online. A cable is not that expensive though.
My speed: 1.1 up, 0,7 down. Not very good but it's ok.

Ok. It been two weeks since PC hit overseas and here in the states psn updated today and still no game. Grrrrr. :banghead: I know, it's not like I can play it yet anyway but man, it be nice to see it up and ready for purchase. I know you, my friends from across the pond, were happy to see it. I'm in need you see. I'm going to need a therapist if I don't get something soon. Feel like a junkie that hasn't had the junk yet. But I want it.:nervous: The hype is like Crack I tell you.

@PRO_TOO my PS4 DL speed is faster via wifi. i have no explanation for that one
I saw your post but never heard that before. It's wierd.
Have you tried reset your router to factory settings?! Wired should always be faster. I don't get it.

Starting to understand why there is sometimes so much lag from other players in online games........

I have fibre optic with just over 50 meg both PS3 and PS4 hard wired, so all good here.

Edit just done some test and got 51 meg download 3.1 meg upload ping of 8 on wifi to laptop
Ps4 hard wired 49.3 download and 3.1 upload

Strange how wifi came out the fastest.

my gaming is fine, have no problems playing online, it's just the download speeds on my PS4 have always been terrible. my 360 was never this slow so I assume it's just Sony's servers are affecting me. I'll investigate the price of fibre optic ASAP though

To add to the bandwith poll in here: I'm on Cable, 100MBit (12 Megabyte/sec down, 0.75 Megabyte/sec up) and i am pretty happy with PSN Speed since they upped their servers on PS4 launch.

Welp, the 6th of May is my bd. I know what my wife is getting meeeeeeee. :D it's the one time she can be late with my gift.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to meeee, happy birthday O5XR8 and SmilerFTM, happy birthday to us.
Shame it'll probably get a release date 2 weeks after instead of the placeholder date.

I dont mean any offense. But just because its fine to you, doesnt mean its fine for others. Your screen could look normal, but on their screen your character/car is all over the place. By "you" I mean the general you and not you personally! Also, not being on broadband means your connection is likely to be inconsistent to some extent, meaning there could be times when you're fine and times when people see you sliding around or something. Again, the overall you, not you personally.

I understand people are limited by money and/or availability. So as I say, I really mean no offence by these remarks. Its a case of get online by any means necessary to enjoy a hobby. I get that, I respect that and do not want to suggest Im in any way against it. Its just seeing some of the figures people have to work with gives me an insight into why some games appear to have a lot of lag.

Think of a fps. If I have 40dl and 8ul I can recieve bullets faster than I can send them. Meanwhile someone with 2dl and 1ul is better off. I recieve bullets 5 times faster than I can send them, 20 times faster than they recieve them. They recieve bullets just twice as fast as they send them and 20 times slower than I recieve them. So how am I supposed to win a shoot at the same time battle with them? Hence, lag. But on their screen, they just see themselves win the fight, no lag. Its all about the perspective its seen from and is part and parcel of online gaming.

But hey, Im waaaaaay off topic here! lol I still see the project cars preorder on the EU store with the original (wrong) date of the seventh.

it's ok, dude, i took no offence at all. sorry if it seemed i did. i also never said i didn't have broadband. do people even still have dial up? i just meant that my general internet speed for browsing and streaming etc is no probs, yes it could be faster, but i rarely wait for anything to buffer, for example. i don't have fibre optic, which i know Sky offer, so i'll check packages sometime.

my recent online gaming has been playing Destiny with my bro and neither of us have noticed lag, plus some Driveclub online races/time trials that seemed smooth (that is, when the game itself doesnt boot me off cos of their poor servers lol).

so basically i think my internet speed is fine, but my PSN downloads are poor and i know i'm not alone judging by the google searches i've done.

Sky and most other ISP in the UK only rent the lines from BT but yes BT have laid a lot of fibre optic cables recently, so that will be available to more people. Im with Virgin and they have there own infrastructure and never had any issues at all. Although they are not country wide.
