Not being a fanboy, but I expected much less from it. This little taste of GT6 was absolutely delightful. Now the wait for GT6 is going to be much harder. I just wish they gave us a tiny bit more. 11 out of 10

By the way, this poll needs the vote selection.

the only thing this game didn't have that i expected was solid frame rate but that's probably because i run everything the best it goes, although i didn't have much issue with GT5 GT6 is also much better graphics, but i'm sure they will fix this by release so i'm happier than a pig in slop

I'm absolutely delightful with the new physics engine and suspension engine. The game looks gorgeous BUT the demo is absolutely aliased. It's off the charts, ridiculous actually. Gran Turismo 5 looked so clean and pretty that i find it weird the GT6 demo is this aliased. I hope the final product differs from this, in this one aspect. (Aliasing)

Honestly, it's about what I expected. Not enough to make me buy the game on release. I'll pick it up second hand or when it's $20. I've got enough better racing games to work through.

Looks good, feels good.Only negative would be the AI.I liked how the progression was set up.

A.I was indeed really easy. I sandbagged the A.I on the Leaf at Suzuka's straight and giving it a lead, I was still able to overtake it without drafting. So that means there was definitely some handicap against the A.I or they weren't pushing the "gas" pedal to the floor.

No more chasing the rabbit though. And as far as I experienced, A.I is not braking at the middle of the corner. They are just taking it REALLY easy XD Make the A.I tougher and faster without being impossible, and I'll be really happy.

Like most others I picked the first option but it is a bit off as there are 2 comments on each one I agree with and one I do not.

I would not rate the demo as Excellent but I will definitely buy it, in fact I already placed the pre-order before seeing the demo as I knew I would enjoy it even if it is not up to what I really want from it.

The demo was cool, lots of things I like about it. I wonder what the extra bonus event will be .... Nurburgring 💡 please

I gave it a Good+. I really liked this demo, but it didn't really deserve an excellent from me.
Let me talk about what I thought was good:

1) Graphics were improved (first thing I noticed).👍

2) Suspension...:drool::drool::drool:👍 👍 👍

3) Those Sports Hard tires REALLY work like actual tires should!:dopey:👍

4) All of the tracks looked beautiful compared to GT5.👍

5) Hearing Get Away by Luca Ceccatelli for the first time since GT5P.👍

6) Lighting and shadows very much improved.👍

Here are the bad things however:

1) FPS!! I kept screwing up my lap time on Silverstone because of constant drop due to the ghost car...👎

2) What's the point of putting a Free Roam selection if you can't do anything with it?👎

3) I feel like the Silvia should've been included instead of the normal 370z because the game essentially has only 4 cars. (This will be null and void if the surprise event is the Nissan Deltawing)

4) AI SUCKS! It's not fun passing every Nissan Leaf half a lap into Suzuka East.👎

Overall I really liked the demo except for the few frustrating things and I can't wait to see what GT6 will look like!

The physics are much improved. The gameplay is unchanged. The demo is very light. I'll buy it eventually.

Unlike what seems to be conventional wisdom here at GTP, I believe this is the final product when it comes to game play.

Hopefully some of the most frustrating issues in GT life have been resolved.

About people wondering what the surprise event will be, we have already been told it will feature the Nissan GT-R GT3 since this car was in the official car list for GT Academy.

However, if PD decides to drop in the Delta Wing, I wouldn't complain 👍

For a demo it's fantastic. I really like the work they did with the game's physics, that made the game feel drastically different when compared to GT5.

I like the demo and I looove Silverstone! I didn't know it was so 'technical' .
Body roll is really more realistic as well as the driving feeling IMO .

The only thing I really don't like is demo quit time September 1st (with my vacations in August) .... I don't understand why.

Apart from more VISUAL body roll, it felt in ffb, exactly like gt5. All that press and hype worked. I think placebo is working well. The demo is VERY early build I suspect and even kazunori told something's won't even be there at launch.

I think its not the best solution to sell an unfinished product... AGAIN. But that's for marketing to fix :)

I'll wait for the ps4 version to judge. As demo, I was disapointed.

Well for the 'game' part of it, horrendous. The races were no such thing and no different to GT5.
The underlying physics and GTA part of it, better, but that isn't what you can use to judge the GAMEPLAY of GT6, only the physics and look.

I play GT5 every single day for at least 2 hours. The car communicates to the driver better in this demo. Last year, the 370Z was nearly impossible for me to control. This year, I posted a sub-400[US] time after a few tries. I'm an average to below average skilled driver at best[Hey, I know my weaknesses]. However, I can now[better] feel when the car is about to oversteer, lose grip, or which way to turn the wheel. This is mostly due to the improved physics. You can call it placebo marketing. I'll call it change for the better. Agree to disagree?

I'm not a technician but I'd guess that the AI engine from GT6 is not in that demo and that those cars are just running a preprogrammed route, generic moving pylons for lack of a better word. The final product may be the same as GT5 or improved, but I don't think this demo is representative either way.

I don't either but as I said in the other thread why would PD put out a demo with 'races' like that? They must have known some people will assume the final product will be like that.

I don't find the poll options to cover it. The poll treats the quality of the demo as an indicator as to whether or not we are interested in purchasing the game, but it isn't. The demo is lousy, but I still expect to buy the game.

To be fair, the poll probably isn't for people like you. You're going to buy it regardless.

It's more of interest for people who would judge GT6 based on what they see in the demo, and how they responded to it. After all, the demo is basically a fancy bit of advertising. For a few people it's a chance to become a race driver, but for most it's just a chance to get them interested in buying GT6.

My guess is that they think the buying public is aware that the cars are just placeholders. Some won't be of course, but I think it's a sign of complacency on their part and feeling they have a captured market and don't have to do any better. I was disappointed to see cars on the track at all and would have preferred simple free run type TT's and the ability to free run all the cars on each track. How difficult would it have been to set up a series of TT's based on each car/track combination, prolonging the gameplay and fan immersion into the demo? Not difficult at all methinks.

There needs to be another option. I'm one of the biggest on the fence guys about GT6, and just played the demo yesterday I was actually impressed by the physics as someone pointed out feels like the car actually moves and what not. Even the graphics at Sliverstone and Autumn Ring both courses were nice, but it needs to be expanded upon to Grand Valley East, and other course.

I was impressed, but not enough to say I'd buy the game, and enough to say it's not the same as GT5.

Still a long ways till release.

Edit: Plus on the interior views still could be better, but it's a start, and even the camera angles during replay's that was a plus as well.
