Project CARS 3 Announced, Arrives This Summer

Got to admit I was not expecting to see pCARS 3 this generation given the focus on the Fast & Furious game. Nice to see some customisation, make it playable on a controller out-of-the-box and I'll be there day one.

 

As soon as I saw that C8.R, I knew this was going to be an insta-buy for me.

 

Definitely didn't expect it this soon. First game to have the Corvette C8.R? That's pretty awesome.

 

I just hope its easier to play on all fronts. Even on a wheel, the last game wasn't exactly friendly for casuals.

Sucks to see its gonna be held back by current gen.

 

That crash between the GT and the NSX looked really odd and bad. Hope they have sorted out the physics.

 

I'm honestly surprised that it's coming out for PS4, I was expecting it to be a newgen release. However, I'm looking forward to play it. Especially since I saw some new GT4 cars added.

Customization options are also going to be a hoot.

Looks amazing! Definitely getting Driveclub vibes from the trailer. Sounds like there’s a much more deeper career mode with customisation and building your way up. Sounds like it could be a very cool GT7 alternative if they keep/refine the simulation elements to the handling.

 

Looks good, looks like PCars2. Really didn't expect this on current gen but okay. Something to keep us busy and compare to ACC which is great.

 

Gameplay

 

Looks a lot like shift 3
I enjoyed shift2
Hope it drives well and no killer puddles.

 

Some of the race objectives "Perfect corners 1/10 etc" look really concerning in regards to the state of career mode

 

The driving feels alot like grid 2019

Please to god i hope they didn't up this game by going the arcade racer style

 

I recognize this roundabout in Shanghai, I think I've been in that mall before.




This is the boardwalk along the river. The famous Shanghai skyline is to the left. The hotel I had stayed at when I was there a long time ago is probably nearby actually

 

this is a nice surprise announcement and I'm really happy to see my NSX GT3 livery I made for pCARS 2 came back.

It does looks a lot more like SHIFT 2 successor now, really interested in seeing more info on it.

Hmm... the cars seem to be driving/moving about very oddly although that might be the camera doing tricks as well.
Reminds me of Shift 2 with a sprinkle of Grid in there

 

Same game director as DriveClub and Motorstorm...

 

Looks like project cars 3 may have a identity crisis
