Yeah, keep the dog hair out of the pedals, I would know.:irked:

I spray electric cleaner in mine when it starts to stick, so far each time (3) has cleared it for 2-3 months. All I do is take the bottom panel off, and spray everywhere in there, then re-grease the springs a bit. :)

This car doesn't like it if you feel lazy. Corrections need to be swift when you get too far on the curbs. I might make a cup of tea for the race. :)

Managed a 9.7 in the 908 and slowly learning the technique for this car. Luckily it's not a hotlap competition (quite the opposite).

alright, got the 21 ticket from Green. this might take a while, as the Nascars are level 21 :/

so, uh, anyone have a 21 ticket? :(
If I still have my 21 I'll send you a second, that way each time you restart you'll be able to try twice.:)

I had suspected they might be different levels given the different performance of the two.:ouch:

go for it if you want. you don't have to.

Quick question about qualifying. I understand how the process will be done just wondering will the times be posted in the OP as the times are done or will the times be held and be released on race day?

hah, hey Calm "Rookie," good question.

A nice little Rolex results board displaying all qualifying times will be added to the OP on Sunday where all times will be displayed as they are submitted.

Well with all the questions I ask I mine as well designate my self one :). Ive managed leagues for years but this is the first GT5 league I have done outside of my own so it's all a learning curve. I have that big yellow stripe on my bumper ;)

I'd paint my car yellow & put a big black "x" on it if the game allowed it.

@Eddie: Rolex? Flash git haha.

Cool, yeah we've been doing the same for a while now, since GT5. Good to have yet another experienced organizer in our midst - this series is full of them for some reason! XD

and it's great to ask a lot of questions, really appreciate it 'cause the things you're asking are also on a lot of other people's minds at the same time but they don't ask, you're doing a good service :).

ya with all the talent here at pure from what I've seen I just hope to make it into the first room.

LMPs are one of my favs to race, next to F1s and GT cars. Got down to the 2.09.7 as my PB. Not much experience on Racing Hards at all really so it's a big adjustment, more I run on them though the more it feels natural again to me.

I'll be perfectly honest and say that my only goal right now is to make D1 for Le Mans, and then win that. All the testing I've done so far has been at Le Mans, save for a few runs at Spa.

Oh yeah, and still no luck getting the #51 Viper. I'll try again for a bit after a stop at Macs.

Two Falcons, two Xj220's, two Camaros, two TVR's, two Diablos, a Veyron, a boatload of Nascars. lol

Hey man that's definitely a good way to go for you, you're always strong at Le Mans.

Had an interesting testing earlier today with GTP_Litchi, etc. Needless to say I signed up with the Nissan Motorsport Team 👍

Hey Wardez, excuse my ignorance but since this weekend I will not be able to play because I will be out for work, I'd like to know about the qualify procedure and in which days qualify will be made :) thanks and sorry for asking

We're doomed.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ;_;

Nice to see you too Mule :)

It's been such a long time since i participate in a serious series like PURE, the last time was WSGTC2. I definitely missed the excitement of racing wheel to wheel with you guys, and need more practice to be able to keep up with you guys :scared:

YESSSS, WOoosh!

haha, great to have you back man, this series is gonna be a riot!

I love how GTA brings out the racer in people :D

No problem sir.

Qualifying is officially open already but I don't expect people to start until next week.
Qualfying is open everyday up to 12 hours before the start of the race/ 7:00 UTC Sunday morning.

But it is a live individual qualifying, kind of like the F1 qualifying system they used in 2005, but here all drivers can choose whatever day is best for them and their schedule on when to qualify, you only need to be viewed by a Pure steward (list is in the "regulations" link) for the session to be official. You can get one by asking if one is available here in the thread or scheduling it with me through PM ahead of time.

The rest of the qualifying rules are explained in detail in the regulations.

Quick question before the season starts, can i change my car/team? Cause after i drove the GT-R i realized i am a bit bored with it, i've been driving SuperGT class for a couple of series i'm in and i think it is time for a change. I would like to drive the R8 LMS even though it is quite tricky to handle. If i may do so, how can one do that?

You can change teams in the same page you used to initially select one Remy. If not I can help you out better once I'm home, I'm on my way back from work now.

Ah thanks Ed, i found it, and it has been updated now.

You're up for a practice?

Yes, I was gonna ask if you wanted to meet up for a bit of testing and chatting.

I'll be on in about twenty minutes.

Cheers

I got a room up Eddie

Cheers
I'll join in a bit, just finishing up some auto B-spec.

Very interested to see where i stack up with all these great drivers. Had a few great close races with litchi yesterday. Cant wait to get this started.

Well those test races we did last night went awesome, we did a mixed class race then an LMP race of 4, 2 Audis, a Pug, and a GT-One battling it out.

Have video I'll post up later.

And I think I've finally figured out what the deal with the Audi R10 is, or at least how it's sort of supposed to be driven.

After racing it in the draft it made me realize how similar the approach to driving it is to a certain car in iRacing - the Spec Racer Ford.

Off throttle over steer folks, name of the ****ing game.

On especially tight corner in lower gears, you need to keep feeding a bit of power to keep the car planted, but not too much or it'll under steer, I love driving this thing a lot more now.
