Well we're not ones to decide who should keep what private so adapting to people's wishes to retain at least some sort of anonymity when it comes to their names is more than fine.

But since it's a fictional series then in writing I can just change the last name to something else all together as well, so the solution for a John H. wanting to keep his surname initialed then I'd just go , " JOHN HENDRIX HAS WON LE MANS AHHHH"

But yeah, that's that, the GTP and PSN tags, as I've already said, are going to be to a lot more easy to see once we have all the team pages up.

A couple questions, will car choice be free?
Can I reserve #8 for my RM Corvette?
Will we be running weather in the races?

Thanks.

Yes car choice is wide open, see regulations.

Numbers were going to be assigned for the 'vette and Citroen but we decided against it in the end, you should have no problem having 8.

Weather will be set to random yes, at the tracks that feature it.

Thanks for the questions, gotta update the reg's a bit.

In my series, I'm relying on REAL weather to determine the weather for all the races. Just a suggestion.

we've tried that in previous series... doesn't work out too well with GT's weather being pretty impossible to get what you want.

Weather will be set to random yes, at the tracks that feature it.

So 4 of the 6 tracks offer weather (Spa, Monza, Suzuka, Sarthe). With heavy damage and the randomness of GT5 weather I think that's likely going to be too much.

If I may make a suggestion pick just one or two tracks for weather and let us race in dry conditions for the remaining races. Or just make La Sarthe the grand daddy event with weather and time change and keep the others dry.

Just a suggestion... take it or leave it. I'm running either way. :sly:

TCS is disabled 👍 -- does that change if rain is in the forecast?

I'm defintely in with my BMW again.:sly:

I don't like your last suggestion Tim as I probably can't make that race and I like rain.

When I consider all drivers actual experiences I've known in rain races, and the common amount of enjoyment derived from rain races in racing cars by the bulk of drivers, I think only 1 race should have rain, and it should be a designated "rain race".

I disagree with you all.
I love the rain and always have great fun during wet races I vote for all of them t be wet

Agreeing with Pag. You either love or hate the rain, and personally, I love them. And to be fair, I think the level of skilled drivers we'll have in this series, we wont have any problems.

Hey, totally random question, but is there a full replay of the 6 hours of Spa available to watch somewhere? On that note, is there one for Sebring. I missed both of them. :(

You can watch the Sebring race on espn3.com if your internet provider is approved. You just have to search American Le Mans.

Track specifics for all the tracks are going to be up tomorrow.

But I can let you know that after some testing, setting the weather to 25% with 9 changeability seems like the happy spot. Most of the time it doesn't start raining, but once it does, it's extremely light most of the time. But there's always the element of surprise, and it'll be a long race. This is what Le Mans is going to feature.

Spa's going to be dry.

Monza's going to be a bit more interesting in that we're going to be simulating a day of racing where we had to red flag the start to wait for monsoon-like conditions to finish. So we'll be starting the race with 100% water coverage with no weather, letting it dry through the race.

Suzuka will be set up like Le Mans, but we will start dry.

But like I said, this will all be in the track specifics, which will be linkable by clicking on the track boxes in the OP tomorrow.

They're all two hours long, Le Mans is three 👍

No short races here :D

Glad to have you, thanks for joining.

+1 they're very stressful, but very rewarding.

I'm there Eddie :). Need to test a few cars I suppose, obviously I'm going for the less powerful vehicles :D.

I'm not sure what the big issue with using real names is, to be honest. It's not like your identity's going to be stolen or anything.

I agree. Everyone knows who I am anyway, and if you want my identity you can have it. :p
