Just read a review of it and it sounds very good but I'd avoid online fps's with it. Some of its functions are questionable and likely easy to spot with death cams.

It won't take you long to get used to it though as every mistake is a really good reminder.

Could be very useful at times

Assign a button to ghost then laugh your socks off when someone tries a wild lunge.

Thoroughly hammered Le Sarthe over the weekend with 4 hours in Gr3 Saturday and the same for the Gr1's on Sunday. I'd have done more but by the end of each session, I could barely lift my arms up to the wheel and my legs were creaking.

I'm sticking with race C from now on as I'm not aggressive enough for A and B. C is nice and relaxing and it seems I'm pretty decent at keeping tires in good condition along with fuel saving. I guess I'm using the tortoise and hare scenario for my results.
Same as me with race C - take it steady and pick up places as others hit problems.

I managed a win at Le Sarthe, albeit in race A with the Golf! Found myself in a race with a couple of aliens, pole guy's lap was 4 seconds quicker than mine, but noticed that the aliens seem to refuse to use TC to help them get off the line.

I went from 6th to 2nd at the start, and followed the polesitter - my thinking was to stick as close to him as I could, to see where he was making up so much time. As we went onto the Mulsanne straight, he cut the inside of the corner - just as I was thinking 'I've never been able to get away with that', the penalty banner started flashing over him!

He slowed to take the penalty straight away, and fell back down the pack, leaving me a clean run to the chequered flag :)

Aye, it has loads of stuff if you turn on is well dodgy for certain games. Not my style. Stay switched off.

Just them paddles for me. They work without cheats.

I did one race in the Golf and was all over the track under braking. Couldn't get the hang of it at all and had to deliberately crash a couple of times to stop myself from hitting others. Switched to race C in embarrassment.:O

Seeing some guys shortcutting the last chicane on La Sarthe without penalty was one more nail to the GTS coffin I'm in currently [ can't stop to shake head ]

Yes, couldn't believe it when I saw it - given how strict the penalties are elsewhere it's amazing that they missed that one!

Thanks for turning up and sorry for the abrupt end. Couldn't believe the lobby timed out while I was messaging coryclifford. Blame him for replying slowly.:D

Note to self if I do another. Mobile gets turned off and I make sure I hit a button on the TV remote beforehand to stop it from going to sleep.

Bit earlier than usual, gives anyone more of a chance to paint their cars. I will open a room at 8.00 US ET on Sunday, (tomorrow ) for Geezers, QM'S and friends. Hopefully we can get a start 09.00, (14.00 UK)

We have a choice of two GR3 cars, the Jaguar and the Aston. 2 great British cars, (well British back in the day!) Car choice open for each race.

We start at Alsace. Race mediums, no boost, and no pit stops. Choice of next track is with the last finisher. Last race of the day will be either the GR1 at Blue Moon for 29 laps or F1500 at Le Mans for 8 laps, which we can decide with a vote.

When is the next ? And would it be possible to add the hours as well ?

(so room open in X hours from now)

Room opens in 19 hrs 15 min. :)

Struggling with the heat here and barely turned a wheel. I've been sat chilling in front of a fan with England's run in the world cup and Wimbledon on TV though so it's not all bad.

Hope you and and all the other exiles are doing well.👍

I'm quite enjoying the 90 degree temps and occasional rain. I even wear my jacket every day, and all day, which everyone in their right mind thinks is weird, but hey…
When you say you like the 90 degree you mean the 90 degree turn !? 90 is very high ....

90 degree temperatures. Cold hurts. Hot temps don't hurt my body. It's like I'm all loosened up!

A bunch of geezers chilling on a park bench talking about the weather ... - moderate 25° C here in Germany with occasional hailstorms, perfect :D !

... or this forum is sleeping

Not asleep, tired though, tired of racing. There's nothing that could make me want to race at the moment - fun spoiled  !
All I do is fiddling with liveries and piloting the X-BOW around Blue Moon. I'm chasing my PB, race count is 113, and I'm ready for the next content update. I'll buy the bridge maybe :sly: ...

Hope everyone is doing good ... and better than me :) !

Edit :

Is that a light in the darkness ?
