The one F1 season I really want isn't even available, AFAIK.

1995. I know it's not the fastest season ever, but it's the season where I started playing F1 games with the PS1 title "Formula 1".

I would like that season too. I'm glad I got the 2000 season. It reminds me of F12000 from EAsports on pc.

Got the Blancpain 2012 mod today, and I'm very impressed. Superb physics, superb textures, and dat Nissan sound .

Now if only I could drive better lol .

I liked the blancpain mod but i hated how the mod has all the head movement in the cockpit. It completely made it undrivable for me.

Is head movement really that bad?

Try the realheadmotion plugin.

Or adjust it in your file for the vehicle in the mod.

Anyone happen to have a working link to the Jaguar XKR GT2 mod by a guy called Dave from the F1 Classic forums? All links I've found are dead..

I've been at zandvoort in the 1985 mclaren tag turbo for the past 30 mins learning how to control the car when the boost kicks in. Also I adjusted the damage files to make it more realistic.

Here's a fantastic video, the editing is awesome, it looks so real.

Custom cameras and post processing with a video editor.
The game engine doesn't support some of the focus effects etc.

A good mouse and maybe also some post processing, dunno.

I know I'm teasing a bit, but I'm in the final stages of editing and then the whole track will get some new mapping. I really hope I'll release it in the next 3-4 weeks:

I recently added ctdp's 06 f1 mod, its really good. Also, I added F1 Total 2011 mod. The 2011 mod is probably my favorite modern day F1 car mod. The physics are superb. Only gripe I have about these two mods, their damage. It wasnt the best so I tweaked a few things(when I crashed at a speed in which a wheel would come off, it didnt, etc).

The file's pending on NoGrip, once the mods finally give their okay, I'll post a download link.

Looks like a fun hillclimb.

Awesome! Downloading now, probably won't get to try it tonight though. Looks so good from your video, I can't wait to try it in a Mini Z car... Or an AE86 N2. Or... The list goes on.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, the Hachiroku is great fun on it, has just the right handling characteristic for this track.

Decided to finally try out the LMPC car from the Enduracers mod. Car was enjoyable to drive, despite some moments where the tail got happy. I failed at trying to beat the pole time for this year's Sebring race, but I might have found a way to drive the GT cars better without spinning out in the process: With this car, I overcame the Smoking brake lockup by pumping the brakes as I downshifted. I was able to keep it in the RPM range I wanted by doing so and that demonic clutch didn't kill me.

I lied, I had to try it out with the Mini Z car mod I already had loaded. I absolutely love it! Up until now I've been using the Transfagarasan, Project Kaido and Coppa d'Anapo mods (and a few others I can't remember) for my hillclimb fix but I find Transfagarasan is way too long and samey to memorise, the Project Kaido touges have glitched Armco which pretty much destroys your car if you touch them (and you will) and the Coppa d'Anapo is... I actually can't really remember. Yours looks great and so far I haven't had my car flipped by a gentle brush of a barrier, and it's just short enough to memorise but not too short to be over too quickly.

In short: Thank you!

Thanks for the nice words!
Yes, I made sure the armcos work more or less like they should.
I placed invisible walls alongside them, so they have a proper collision box.

Yup, I'll provide links as soon as possible, here's the NoGrip link: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=37969 Have fun guys!

Thanks! Excellent work. Only problem is all my mods are race cars.. I don't have any street or hillclimb cars :(

I'll give it a go sometime, I like the LMPC's.
