rFactor is a great platorm and although it is a bit outdated it still manages to bring such a great experience! Something GT5 fails to do with all its shinny greatness...
 
Having rFactor, Race07/GTR Evo and GT Legends it is very easy to forget about GT5. My PS3 broke last October and i haven't had the urge to replace it yet.

Driving physics and the lack of real tracks is keeping me from wanting to play GT5. Between the three sims i have i pretty much have most of the real tracks from around the world. And i also have a lot of mods installed on all three sims to keep me well entertained.
 
Been using the Corvette ZR1 GT2 in the Endurance series mod lately and I can't seem to figure out the braking on it, even the slightest touch of the brake pedal either locks up the wheels or sends me sideways, no other GT2 car in the mod does this so its a but frustrating. Any help? :)

Its a bit out dated but having lots of different mods makes it feel updated

Try playing arround with the brake bias.

Only fault - and might be just me - is that the rear likes to step out too quickly. I like that it does, but I didnt think that going into a simple corner at 60mph, no gas or brakes, and the rear stepped out :indiff: Apart from that I love it :D
 
Been running Road Atlanta and Brands Hatch lately, two great tracks! Especially in GT3 Cup Cars against 30 AI with 100% difficulty and aggression. :p
 
You are a brave man! At 100% agression the AI is plain homicidal! They do pretty stupid stuff at that agression level!

I've been spun out a few times already, if I accidently bump an AI driver, a few laps later if that same driver is still around, I'll get bumped, its pretty neat:p Frustrating to.

Because in rFactor when you turn off all aids there's no "stability control" if you enter the turn with no good inertia (too fast, or late braking while turning, or just unbalancing the car) you could spin even at low speed. This is also mod dependant. Mods are made by different users, there's no a global idea of what is supposed to be "realistic".

I've heard about the McLaren now work with a new graphic card. From what I know McLaren in GT3 mod is made as an addon so it doesn't necessary follow the same convertion procedure made by original modder sandrox. Maybe could have been a shader issue, your integrated graphic card wasn't new enough to use that particular type of shaders. So liveries didn't display properly.

I never use assists except abs

I think it cuts in too soon but still good

I know TT13 is doing it. I'm going to be driving a Porsche with him.
It's August 4th iirc and is four hours long.
Oh yeah, and we're all using matching skins alright?

Do racedepartment usually do a 24 hour race?
